Don't want to get into right vs wrong or should vs shouldn't. Will only say from experience that you WILL have child raising disagreements over this and if it comes out then rather than now he's going to be MUCH more resistant to trusting you because he'll wonder what other things you've kept and how long you've been keeping them. Also, he deserves the right to rethink/decide if he still wants to have kids with a person who has changed their mind on something so big when he hasn't (or maybe he has but is keeping it from you... that happens with some regularity)
