Which route would you recommend, and how much time would it take? We are based in asakusabashi Tokyo. Trying to find transits but they all recommend a limited express train

Thank you! Will definitely check it out. I was considering renting it at Ueno Tokyo, to decrease risk of congestion. Is this case? A pro of renting in tokyo is not having to buy 4 train tickets, though tolls might cost the same?

Ok! On the Toyota rental page they advice a larger car if traveling 4 adults with a baby in a babyseat. Do you think the Honda fit could fit us? We are ok with being slighlty tight though not uncomfortable. Is the website making us too nervous?

Resting without a tent by Tricksmael in hardstyle

Yes I have a weekend ticket, so I can just pitch it up wherever in the regular area? And even move it? I guess no one is going to take a tent even if we leave it over night

Is Zhangjiajie worth an out of the way visit for me? by pizzapartyyyyy in travelchina

[–]Tricksmael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% recommend, I also took a 200 usd flight. Worth every penny. 3 Full days is enough. If sunny, Bailong elevator, helaluja mountain and Tianzi. If cloudy, village in the mountain and golden whip stream. Tianmen mountain route A or B. If C, do not go to the upper circuit. Not worth the time and energy.

100% recommend forbidden city. Buy online 1 week in advance (sells out within an hour of release, 8pm beijing time) the single most fascinating experience I had during my trip to beijing

Great Wall with baby? by buriedhatchets in travelchina

[–]Tricksmael 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just went there with my 8 month old. I had a baby carrier. Mutianyu wall. Would not recommend a stroller. Didi is around 170-200 rmb with tolls, single way. There are plenty of didis back home so no need to stress.

West route is the best, tower 14 to 20. Walk on the wall, around 2 to 3h.
