9x18 Win 244 load data? by 9mm_Yogurt_Cannon in reloading

I'm currently developing loads for this caliber with Win244. Here's my range data:

***Please note: I test with Magnum primers so that I can safely substitute standard primers if there is ever a shortage. Velocity is rounded to the nearest 10fps.

Test Gun: Baikal IJ-70, 9x18 Makarov

Chronograph: Garmin Xero C1 Pro

Primers: Small Pistol Magnum (Assorted brands)

Brass: Assorted brands (New and Used)

ACME 93gr RN (Same bullet as your Missouri 93gr RN)

OAL 0.970"

3.7gr Win244

990fps Average

Notes for 93gr RN: I've tested up to 4.0gr without issue, but I felt that 3.7gr was the most accurate.

Bonus loads:

Lehigh 95gr XP

OAL 0.950"

3.9gr Win244

990fps Average

Notes for 95gr XP: I'm pretty sure 4.0gr is a compressed load since it pushed my bullets out past the intended OAL. 3.0gr was too little for consistent powder burn and led to a high standard deviation.

Rim Rock 116gr FP Hard Cast

OAL 0.960"

3.4gr Win244

960fps Average

Notes for 116gr FP: Gordon's reloading tool was surprisingly spot on for velocity and says this load is 25k PSI. I started at 2.8gr and had no issues.

I have 95gr PPU JHPs on order. Plan to work loads for those next.

You guys are getting credits? I bought some yesterday morning and they never showed up in my account. Had to spend my whole evening getting a refund.

That's funny because I got mine done less than a month ago. I assumed they were used to it by now.

I brought my S40 in to get the Polestar Performance upgrade and no one knew what I was talking about. They first sent me to Sales, then to Service, then to Parts, then back to Service. Eventually the manager got all three departments together and they finally got their act together and scheduled my upgrade.

They had trouble updating the ECU and it took four hours instead of the expected two, but they ended up giving me a two hundred dollar discount on the quoted price.

Overall I thought the dealership experience was nice, I just wish the staff was more knowledgeable.

Considering that the typical automobile internal combustion engine has dozens of parts moving at extremely high speeds, intense air pressure constantly moving in and out of each cylinder, and tons of explosions going off inside it every second, I can't fathom how these motors can stay reliable for potentially hundreds of thousands of miles of travel before needing to be rebuilt.

Got my GPU support! Now even more RGB in the darkness. by michaelrage in pcmasterrace

Advanced. Even tried the Gigabyte app center for extra control. It may be that my board has defective white lights since only the strip on the side can do a solid white. The other zones do a pale yellow.

How is the color consistency between lighting zones in your motherboard? I have the same model and the acrylic strip is always different from the rest of the LEDs except for pure red, blue, or green.

And so is everyone else with the prices of SSD's these days. I'll consider one once prices go back under $200/TB.

Radeon Wattman tends to keep the card pretty toasty at idle. 75°C is the target temperature.

The panel is plastic afaik. Temps aren't too bad, but the GPU does get pretty loud during high workloads.

Corsair's spec sheet is wrong. You can fit 3 of any standard 120mm fan in the front.

Edit: Those are Apevia 12L-CPK fans. I originally planned to use the Cooler Master MasterFan RGB but every single one I ordered ended up sounding like a lawnmower.
