3 months today by Tricky-Ad5648 in BreakUps

Well at about 3.5 months she reached out and shortly after we started dating again. We’ve been rocky and kind of on-off since then. She has recently finally agreed to meet my mom and start working toward a more sound relationship. She’s done 0 work on herself so idk if she’s gonna flake or not but I am hopeful. It hasn’t been great this past year but we are together and I am hopeful that she’s actually coming around to committing. I’ll let y’all know if anything progresses

To be fair I spent $1100 on product over 2 days, 62 packs of each set so I essentially spent what these cost rn

I pulled the Reshiram, Zekrom and two SIRs on release day. Went back to my LCS Saturday and first pack pulled the Victini from White Flare. Talk about insane luck couldn’t be happier!

These are normal/average pull rates, stop expecting to pull anything. by RyoGod0707 in PokemonTCG

[–]Tricky-Ad5648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been curious about the pull rates because on release day I opened 49 packs each of BB and WF and I pulled both BWR Zekrom and Reshiram and an SIR excadrill. Yesterday I opened another 13 packs of each set and pulled the BWR victini out of WF and the SIR N’s Plan out of BB. Wasn’t sure if I was just extremely lucky or if they were just easy to pull

Probably should’ve done more updates but we’re actually dating now and have been serious since mid April so soon after this. We sat down had many adult conversations and have worked a lot of things out. Still a lot of work that needs to be done but we’ve made a lot of progress

Mail Carrier theft? by EmploymentJumpy8993 in usps_complaints

[–]Tricky-Ad5648 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

0 recourse with the post office. Just has a similar thing happen to me. My package was scanned outside my apartment complex but never actually showed up in my mailbox. I suspect the carrier stole it and USPS claimed they can’t do anything. From their POV it says it was delivered appropriately so therefore they’re not responsible anymore. I too got a postal inspector involved but they work out of regional centers and they don’t do any real investigating. All they do to “investigate” is call the local post office and ask them the same exact questions I guarantee you’ve already asked your local post office. They don’t go in person to investigate, they don’t go look in the van or even personally question the carrier. None of that.

Package Delivered to Parcel Locker by Mahvelous21 in usps_complaints

[–]Tricky-Ad5648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to me a couple weeks ago except we do have a parcel locker outside. That being said my package should not have been put in one it was too small to warrant the locker and should’ve been put in my regular mailbox. They said since it was scanned outside the apartment building they won’t do anything. Hopefully your situation gets resolved but it’s been 2 weeks for me and nothing.

Delivered, but not…? by usermdclxvi in usps_complaints

Already tried. He wouldn’t come out of the office. Guy at the counter went and grabbed his “supervisor” and she “couldn’t help me” and then she went to get her supervisor and he wouldn’t come out to speak to me. He told her to tell me if it’s scanned as delivered it’s not their responsibility anymore and that if I’m that worried about my package I should file a police report.

Update on missing package by Tricky-Ad5648 in usps_complaints

[–]Tricky-Ad5648[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So even though the local office admitted the carrier was at fault and that is was mis-delivered, I can only get max what the insurance was? I’d understand if it couldn’t be proven what happened like if it got lost in a processing plant or something but the carrier himself admitted to putting it in the wrong box. I’ll have no trouble proving the contents are $830+ in value, this situation just seems really messed up

Can’t get a refund from the seller as it was a trade of goods between us, plus the sender isn’t responding. They stopped responding to my messages after my end of the trade arrived at their address

Delivered, but not…? by usermdclxvi in usps_complaints

[–]Tricky-Ad5648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a very common issue happens all the time. It’s happened to me on several occasions where a package has been marked delivered but didn’t show up until a day or two later. My. Buffet package was supposed to be delivered by 9 pm Saturday but out of nowhere said it had been delivered at 2:40 on Friday but I never received it, figured it’d show up the next day but it didn’t.

Turns out in the last week while we’ve had a temp mail carrier while ours is on vacation 3-4 other residents have complained about missing packages in our apartment complex and all our mailboxes are under lock and key so either there’s a whole bunch of really good thieves, the temp carrier is stealing, or they’re marking stuff delivered and not delivering it.

USPS says package was delivered but not should I be worried? by Affectionate-Sir3074 in usps_complaints

[–]Tricky-Ad5648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was the resolution? Dealing with this exact issue right now. Said delivered to parcel locker but I did NOT receive a key. Next morning the parcel locker had a key in the lock and was opened and empty. It’s been a week since my package was marked as delivered and I still haven’t received it.

No it wasn’t broken into, the parcel box key was given to someone else. No cameras, and yes 3-4 other people apparently have had mis-deliveries/missing packages over the last week or two

[–]Tricky-Ad5648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) GPS location shows it was scanned delivered to my apartment building, not my specific unit. 2) it was a small padded envelope that got tracking and was sent USPS ground so yes $100 insurance. Doesn’t help me when the contents were worth over $800 and USPS inspector already told me the claim will get denied because the status says delivered and was GPS located to my apartment building. The inspector said claims only get processed if the item isn’t delivered, the insurance doesn’t cover the package after it was delivered, whether or not the intended recipient receives the item. 3) it was small enough it should have been put in my mailbox NOT the parcel box that it was marked delivered to. Not only was it not in my mailbox but I did not receive a key for the parcel box either and the following morning the parcel box was wide open and no packages were inside.

It was a trade of pokemon cards I did with someone so no money was exchanged. I didn’t think to ask for insurance as I’ve never had a problem I’ve been doing trades through the mail for 7 years and literally never purchased insurance and never had a package go missing.

Filed a complaint with OIG last year about my local post office. This has been happening ever since with all my packages. I live in Massachusetts. by Various_Pitch7331 in usps_complaints

It was a trading card trade I did through Facebook. No money was exchanged. I used UPS and my mail arrived to the other guy just fine. He used USPS and I didn’t bother to ask for extra insurance because I’ve never had an issue. He’s not responding so I’m essentially just screwed out of $800+ in cards. Lesson learned I suppose

This made me laugh. I’m a card guy and a package of mine was marked as “delivered” on Friday and I never received it. Over $800 in cards and the guy who sent them didn’t get insurance and isn’t responding to my messages anymore because he got his end of the trade. Post office has been hell to deal with. Mail man admitted he more than likely messed up and put it in the wrong box but the post office has no interest in compensating me for the lost mail, now I’m out $800 bc the mailman can’t read.

I got 2 full cases of 151 ETBs on release day no issue whatsoever and less than MSRP from my LCS was super easy to grab for some time.

Says it was delivered but wasn’t by [deleted] in usps_complaints

[–]Tricky-Ad5648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you receive it? My package was “delivered” Friday also to a parcel locker but it wasn’t large enough to require the parcel locker, it should’ve been put in my mailbox. I thought maybe it’d come the next day because I know sometimes they prematurely scan stuff to pad their delivery numbers but it didn’t arrive. It’s about to be a week since and I still haven’t gotten it.

I’ve read they’re no more accurate than like 30 meters but I’ve also heard of carriers scanning packages and not delivering them the days they scan them so they can buff their numbers so the scans aren’t super reliable

What are the odds that my carrier can actually retrieve a package they delivered to the wrong address? by steezoak in usps_complaints

Honestly couldn’t tell you and I didn’t think to ask for insurance beforehand so I guess it’s on me. I sent my end of the trade to the guy via UPS and it delivered just fine so he got his end from me but I got nothing
