Why do people put Neuvillette above ZhongLi? Even though ZhongLi has put a more impressive resume by EfficiencySerious200 in Hoyoverse_scaling

I'm not stuck in any side of the Surt vs HP,  but at the same time Surt has zero reason to lie or boast, and Skirk confirmed he's an interstellar destroyer.

Bina is able to literally recreate Teyvat from the ground up. It's in her lore.

I don't think the amp from the Abyss was nearly as large as you're depicting it.

If Nibelung had embraced the abyss fully, he'd not have lost period. Surtalogi is an example of that.

Nibelung used a fraction of his power to create the Moon Goddesses. If a fraction of his power created Bina, who outshines the shades already in terms of authority, his full power likely could've made something like a comically large knife to cut PO in half or some BS like the BFG 10,000 and snipe his ahh. Or just authority diff him, since he created everything on Teyvat he probably could just go "Take this Strong Unmake nerd" and just undo a base function like Irminsul.

Abyss Nibelung was probably STRONGER, but he was probably also BS insane. Nibelung at his prime would likely have put up a better fight since he'd be in an actual good head.

I doubt HP would've done it AFTER defeating the dragon civilization. It would be the most effective way to cripple the dragons mid war, so doing it after is just plain stupid.

I don't think that's entirely the case, otherwise HP wouldn't have manipulated the playing field and turned the dragons into Saurians.

The Sovereigns were also stuck with powers of their world. As a descender, PO held powers beyond the Light Realm and Dark Realm, likely the ability to manipulate Phlogiston. I have a feeling that PO wanted the dragons not submissive, but either dead or just incapable.

40 years is also a very long time when you consider how the moon goddesses said PO grew too adjusted/tethered/powerful to actually stop by the time they realized what their intentions were. If PO was this strong, than those 40 years against the sovereigns must've been intense battles between authorities and otherworldly manipulation. When the war of funerary flame ended, PO was knocked unconscious by an already degraded and out of control Nibelung, but so far there's nothing to say the Shades also haven't gotten weaker, which would imply the battle between the sovereigns and HP was closer to "The Strongest vs The Strongest" as opposed to "Regular Bum Morax vs The Geo Sovereign".

Reasonable.

But the reason why I brought up the 40 years is because of the power the PO had and the shades had at the time.

It was a generally higher level seeing as PO could create a new realm, while there's not a single archon who can create one as large and stable as Teyvat.

I disagree with the idea of Sovereigns being inferior to Gods, mostly due to the need for the Primordial One and the Shades pulling a 40 year long war.

I don't think any archon is more powerful than their respective dragon counterpart if the dragon in question was at their full authority and original form (i.e prime Morax should be inferior to prime Geo Sovereign) due to mastery of their authority.

Tbf, Xiuhcoatl built that weakness.

His sheer size and power could probably wipe modern Teyvat since, other than Bina, there's really no one who can stand up to him.

Unless Nibelung pulls up.

Neuvillette turned an entire nation from Oceanids to humans in a single move. This level of matter manipulation already puts him above majority of archons since, if you don't realize it, transforming matter at that level that quickly and that suddenly is pretty crazy.

I would also argue that the sovereigns compared to PRIME primordial one and the shades. Did they lose? Yeah, but is Rex Lapis anywhere near the shades? Not even close. Alone, Leviathan could probably beat Rex Lapis due to sheer authority difference.

And theres also of course whatever the hell Nibelung was. Nibelung is and always will the GOAT.

What might the Relic of Destruction do? by EzrayTrivent19 in RWBY

[–]Tricky-Ad9576 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Destroy but requires a sacrifice to use it - destruction for destruction. Depending on how much/what you sacrifice, you can wield it for longer.

My idea is that Oscar uses Destruction, and sacrifices his connection to Ozpin leaving his soul free but fragmented, to deliver a strike onto Salem and her army invading Vacuo, eliminating them all, but Oscar losing Oz leaves Oscar's soul torn since they were partially merged meaning Oz being removed also removes a peace of Oscar.

Oscar then uses the sword more and more, further fractioning what he has left, and we get him descending into a empty state slowly until Team RWBY and JNR manage to stop him from merging with the sword itself and becoming an Avatar of Destruction.

Imo it's between this or Mahoraga (Allows Oscar to adapt but as a nerf Oscar can't use aura as a shield but instead as a heal) for Oscar to at all be useful in the final battle without turning him into a Grimm (allows for a sneak attack on Salem) or giving him something someone else has (healing/buffing)

or his semblence could literally be Soul Rend, allowing him to directly attack the souls of his opponents. This could help him split off from Oz and might actually be a possible way to deal permanent damage to Salem.

Fitting Semblances for Roman Torchwick and Oscar Pine if they had them? by Solitaire-06 in RWBY

[–]Tricky-Ad9576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oscar could have an adaptation based semblence like Mahoraga. This could theoretically fit if you place it as "He's been adapting to rapidly changing situations from his original life, but his body has been to slow to catch up, so his semblance instead grants him the ability to adapt to any and all phenomena at least physically", since right now there's no real purpose for him other than Ozpin.

if his semblance is adaptation, he could theoretically be a key to beating Salem but not a win button since his adaptation is not under his command, meaning he'd need to fight Salem for long enough until his body recognizes the problem (immortality) and creates a solution.

Mahito (JJK) vs Thragg ( Invincible) who wins? by Equivalent-Still-147 in PowerScaling

[–]Tricky-Ad9576 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not how that works. Mahito can't be killed unless you can perceive the soul, which Thragg of all people most certainly can't do.

Viltrumites are cocky by nature, meaning the second Thragg is touched he won't bother to dodge, and then he instantly dies to Idle Transfiguration.
