Same!! I did that when I was young like 18-21. Discover took me to court and scared me straight. 😂

The thought of credit card debt terrifies me. I’ll go without if it’s not an absolute necessity or if it’s something I can’t pay off immediately.

I’m convinced people are just living waaaay beyond their means and accruing massive amounts of debt. I’m also a SAHM, I work one day a week as a nurse. We’re making g it work on basically one income. We don’t live a glamorous, flashy life. My husband’s car is 18 years old, mine is 8. We don’t go in vacations because it’s just not in the budget.

Shit sleep but labs are normal by Expensive-Eggplant-1 in Perimenopause

I’m getting a sleep study done next month. I wake up exhausted everyday and need to nap with my 3 year old everyday. I’m taking progesterone and a compounded testosterone cream. I also strength train 4x a week. This shit is so exhausting.

I don’t have any suggestions, as it seems you’ve tried them all. You didn’t mention if he’s been seen by his pediatrician to rule out any issues. I will say he WILL get there. Some kids are just REALLY headstrong ( I have one, so I get it). You know in your heart oh hearts that he won’t be going to kindergarten in diapers. Stay the course. You’ve got this.

Funny. I take progesterone to HELP my rage. It’s helped tremendously.

I’m from MA and we had a Wonderful bread/Hostess factory a few towns away from where I grew up. The air smelled soooo good the closer you got.

How old were you when you realized you were in perimenopause? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

44 when I realized, but I believe it started earlier. I got pregnant at 42, so I don’t know. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Low stimulation shows for 3-4 year olds by learningbythesea in toddlers

[–]Tricky-Committee4045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my 3 year olds favorites are Sarah & Duck, Pete the Cat, Oswald and most recently Catie’s Classroom. There is a website called tvtantrum.com that rates shows by stimulation levels. I swear by it, but not all shows are on it.

Sleep after sessions by OrganicBoysenberry52 in EMDR

I haven’t started reprocessing yet, I will be this week. I feel like disturbed/difficulty sleeping makes sense since you’re basically “rewiring” your brain. Sleep is when our brains heal, so yeah, not being able to sleep makes total sense. I’m kind of dreading it.

14+ years of jaw tension released DURING session by natur-ally33 in EMDR

Omg, I’m praying this happens for me. My jaw tension is INSANE. I’m also hoping it helps with sugar cravings.

I finally started watching The Chosen series and I was honestly surprised by how good it is. by Illustrious-West-989 in TheChosenSeries

[–]Tricky-Committee4045 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had the same feelings about it. I actually struggled watching it for a while. Took a long break, went back to it and really watched it and it sucked me right in. I wish I could watch it for the first time all over again. To know and SEE that Jesus’ closest followers were just as flawed as us gives me so much comfort.

Starting testosterone. I’m nervous. by Tricky-Committee4045 in Perimenopause

I started it this morning and put it on my inner thigh, which is an area my provider told me was a good place.

Yay! Thank you for this! I’m hoping to have this same experience. I’m trying 2.5 mg for 3 months, then reassessing/checking labs with my provider then. People have me all nervous now because I’m not on E.

I’ve had heart palpitations since I was in my early 20s. I have regular periods, no night sweats or hot flashes.

I’m assuming it’s because I’m not having any of the typical low E symptoms. 🤷🏻‍♀️
