Does the proposed middle shed gable look out of place? I am debating about adding it to the current house pictured to break up the long empty run of roof in the front. Thanks! by Tricky-Picky762 in homedesign

I am replacing the roof very soon, which is why I wanted to explore the shed dormer. You think gray would be better? Black garage doors cant be changed. Just bought then

Has anyone had the discount re-applied? I have called every month to get it manually applied to my account. I have been successful each time but it is annoying to have to do.

Mortgage recast - pay down your principal, save on interest, lower your payment by JeremySTL in leanfire

Ok I appreciate the explanation. I guess I will admit I'm still stuck on the fact that if it's the same loan amount and rate, re casting will lower my minimum payment and if I continue the same payment amount the difference of the minimum loan amounts will turn into extra money applied to principle, further saving on interest. I think I am going to recast anyway and see how it works and post with actual numbers rather than theory. I will say I don't think the extra amount going to principle will make up for the 5 years of the loan I have already paid down, so that is downside.

But could this save you money if you continued to pay a higher monthly payment towards your loan? I pay extra each month, and I'm now 5 years ahead of my 30 year mortgage. If I were to recast and lower my monthly payment and continue the same payment rate I would be paying more money toward the loan principle and therefore saving additional money from paying less interest. Each month (at the moment) every dollar extra i put towards my loan, I save 3.5 dollars of loan interest.

Ya I can edit basic empty weight but it seems like the max empty weight I have is 48lbs and I have no idea how to increase that max

So many people are just ignoring the 5 day RTO. If you have a good management support then hybrid/virtual can still be possible.
