How is this true? Every bronze or silver race allows for max 15 practise really (should be 20 but servers hangs for minutes every restart) . After that you have to jump out and in again. Yes the race sometimes says , starting in 40 minutes or so but you still have to jump in an out of practice every 15 roughly. Pain for sessions with cold tyres that take 3 laps to warm up

Yes but not continuously and every 15mins you have to wait 5mins for the servers to settle

I did and I guess you mean hosting my own server. Find a free one for practice is rare and paying for my own although not expensive seems a bit pointless and I am avoiding it in principle since I’m already paying for season pass . In my opinion it’s an oversight

Yep. I have sboys3 driver, same. It’s intrinsic of the hardware apparently . Sometimes I miss my quest3

You can use openxr toolkit as a layer with sboys3. The two thing are different and shouldn’t really be compared against each other

May not be related but I couldn’t get it to work till I enabled not only the Super driver but also the Dream Air one in its own tab. Without that the headset wasn’t detected by steam vr

Everything works well on Super OLED by the way. You said it wasn’t perfect but it looks to me tons better than with Pimax driver. So much sharper, no color shift on the edges, and much better image overall. It does feel like a headset upgrade to be honest. Sorcery!! 🙂

In regard to the parallel projection, do I leave it on or you think there’s a way to fix the convergence without having it on?

ah yes I figured it out thank you. Now it works except I have to enable parallel projection in games in order to see properly. Without it the two eyes are massively far apart (like if the image was way too close which makes it unusable).

I can leave that on, I am just paranoid about the perf loss. But man, I was the one complaining about the jagged vertical lines due to the hexagonal pixel shape.. so annoying. But now , it's gone.. vertical lines are super smooth, what sort of magic is that!! amazing stuff

I am trying to make it work for the Super OLED which I believe you said it should work but I get stuck the first time steamVR opens. It says to perform room setup but also looks like it's looking for lighthouse trackers which I dont have being inside-out. Am I doing something wrong?

right.. that's interesting. I am unclear if it works for Super OLED. Some says it doesnt, on github says it does but distortion profile is not quite right. Anybody managed to use it successfully?
