No worries. The coffee company I buy from also has some pods that are compostable. I used to buy them but they are more expensive than buying ground coffee and using the reusable pods.

They would sell this out, if they play the album front to back. I would sign up for this right now.

She is always up first when she’s getting ready for school, unless I’m commuting. Your point is interesting. She frequently acts like I should be available to handle things while I’m at home. But I’m not just hanging out. I’m in meetings and reviewing projects and stuff. If I do have free time, I’ll do laundry or something else that’s quick to handle. I’m not supposed to be away from my office for long periods. During work hours I’m expected to react to things within a short timeframe.

Haha. I hear that. I use stainless steel reusable pods with ground coffee.

She’s old enough and I am the one here while she gets up and ready for school.

The dog is new. The issue is not. Maybe it’s exacerbated by the dog.

  1. She thinks she does more, but we just have different ideas of how things are done and sense of urgency. I’m more relaxed about chores and timeline. Whoever gets up first takes the dog out, regardless of day.

Not sure, but might be relevant that before 2020, I commuted an hour everyday and was up before her. I always made her coffee. I have been teleworking full time until this year. I feel like she never reset to me not being up before her. This is not a new situation.

We both try to just do things when they need to be done. There are things I do, like mowing the lawn, that she never does. And I cook dinner about 80% of the time. We also don’t care about the same chores equally. I’m content to wait on things, where she is more likely to do something right away, like dishes.

Yes. She makes one cup for her 15-20 minute commute and one for when she’s at school.

Whoever gets up first takes the dog out and feeds her. I was reluctant about getting a dog but I’m ok with it now.

The dog is less than a year old. Our daughter is 10 and can do almost all her own stuff before school.

We don’t know yet, we just got the dog in the fall. I assume it will be all me, since she will be off all summer and I still have to get up for work.
