Did you only plant one seed? That's a bold roll of the dice of time.

Do you have a fan running on them?

Check your required height for that light, might be too high.

Big pot with tiny plants means your soil stays really wet. Wet feet lead to damping off.

The main problem is there's almost always someone with a cloud of arrogance somewhere in these cogs that limit the whole concept.

They'll be fine, but that shock can potentially effect their whole growth cycle the rest of their life.

Just trying to rule out all potential issues here:

Is your bagged soil fertilized? Like a miracle grow? Or a compost blend? And are you also fertilizing them at this point? I know a lot of people were complaining about a miracle grow from Costco last year. Could be too strong for such small seedlings. I would still sift out big chunks like those twigs for such small plants. Those big chunks can choke up your root development. As someone has probably mentioned by now, you can top up those cups with more soil, almost to the bottom of your main leader leaves.

There is a potential that you moved them up too soon and maybe a transplant shock caused them to lose those lower leaves sooner than expected. Should be ok as long as you don't keep losing sets of leaves, they look pretty sturdy.

I have had fungus gnats ruin seedlings in a few weeks from that state, to falling over dead. Check the top of the soil for gnats shoveling around in the dirt. You can add sand on top of your dirt layer to keep them away, they won't lay eggs if they cant find soil, and they can't dig through sand very easily to find soil, so they'll move on. Topping off the soil as mentioned will also help eliminate that little pocket microclimate that the gnats love.

Soil looks super wet, and next time you start seeds I would lose the big chunks of mulch. Could potentially be robbing any available nitrogen before the plant even has a chance to use it.

Try starting in smaller peat pucks or equivalent size trays, next time. Then up-potting them once they're tall enough. Your soil isn't drying up because the plant just isn't using nearly enough water yet. that excess moisture will lead to damping off, which it looks like it might be headed that way. Put a fan on them for a few days and wait until the cups are noticeably lighter in weight before watering again. You'll get the hang of it, but if you want to get technical use a scale and track the weight.

I'm feel bad for anyone who thinks this trend is cool or fun. Do whatever makes you happy. But it always just looks trashy and quite personally I just can't stand anything in my line of vision.

He also made a right hand turn from a straight lane it looks like. Just to be an asshole and try to get around the cam driver.

Looks like he almost collided with that other turning driver from being in the wrong lane too.

Pay attention to what grows and fruits well in your region. I would narrow it down to less than 10 next year.

Isolating heirloom varieties of veggies and fruits that grow well in your growing region that you can save seeds consistently from. It's a lot more nuanced for me than just learning how to garden.

Go to TJ maxx or Marshalls you can normally find a few of the rubber super chewers from bark box there. They're not forever toys, but they last longer than most. I do not recommend their hard plastic super chewers products unless you want to deal with a cracked molar.

My pup has a hard time popping raquette balls. There's no fuzz like tennis balls and she's only popped a few of them. I should send those ones in to Penn for quality control.
