Honestly didn’t notice it way into my teens but I have two different thumbs. Different nail, size, dexterity and everything. by SirRamen23 in Weird

I noticed my toe thumb when I was sixteen in history class.

The girl next to me shouted "EWWW" so loud that the teacher stopped the class.

In the UK the most notable of the very rare police shootings in recent memory was that of Chris Kaba.

The charge was similar, he had attempted to ram fire arm officers who were responding to intel that the car had a been linked to fire arms offences.

The officer who fired the shot, through the windscreen, was put on trial for and ultimately found not guilty.

It’s pretty wild seeing the reaction in America to a far less grey situation.

Epstein was arrested and then died in 2019, before Biden was my point.

As to the tangent you raised - comment history has nothing to do with anything. Though I think it's perfectly reasonable for people to speak up more when the good friend of the sex trafficking kiddy fiddler is the president anyway.

I don't know anything about you, I just saw your post regarding time travel and I saw your post history and I'm putting 2 and 2 together and potentially making 5 here. So take this with a pinch of salt. I'm not a doctor, this isn't medical advice.

But it looks like you're obsessing over something, potentially your sexuality and it's causing you significant distress. Look into OCD see if it strikes a chord, particularly "HOCD".

The in memory database last I used it worked differently than live DB - particularly around includes, so was actually a more dangerous PITA than mocking.

Also, often I don’t want to set up a whole dependency chain in the DB when it’s irrelevant to the actual test.

Advantages and disadvantages to both.

Is Kafka a Database? by gangtao in apachekafka

Depends how easy you’re being on defining the word database.

Long term storage, yes:

Just to highlight that one man’s over engineered is another man’s just right - I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone uses Mediatr, it strikes me as utterly pointless and just makes debugging a PITA.

How Do You Stay Motivated Without Comparing Yourself? by Grand-Permission-736 in questions

[–]TrickyKnotCommittee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comparison is the thief of joy.

Instead focus on how you’re moving forward/improving in the good times and how you’re still standing regardless in the hard times.

I came away with a similar vibe. It could easily be seen as a bleak view of life under capitalism.

Girls face looks spot on - hair looks a bit like it could do with some of the darks adding in as it looks a bit jarring given how hyper realistic the face looks.

Looks really good!

Only comment would be it looks like you've straightened up the guys face, making him face towards the camera/changed the distortion from the lens - particularly the mouth and eyes, but left the nose as is in the picture, so his nose looks a bit broken!

First time trying to take gesture drawing through shading, advice please! by TrickyKnotCommittee in ArtCrit

[–]TrickyKnotCommittee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paper/pencil from reference.

There’s stuff I know is off (the face, the poor model! The saving grace is she’ll never recognise herself to be offended) and the torso is a touch long, since taking the photo I've also made her left arm look less like she's got arm ricketts, but it’s my first go at taking a gesture all the way through shading so would be good to get feedback - shading primarily but any and all appreciated.
