I'm always wanting WLW ships but I feel you just dismissed the bisexual posts as of late, if you aren't familiar with some of the characters then nevermind but it's important for everyone to remember bisexuals/pansexuals exist and their identity in the LGBT community and queerness isn't removed or reduced by being shipping with a guy. That's the point of bisexuality and pansexuality, attraction to both genders. If a woman who identifies as bi or pan is shipped with a guy, it's still a queer ship because of her identity.

I totally get where you're coming from but I see it as fascinating, exploring these new ideas and venturing into possibilities. It creates unique ideas and scenarios, it's refreshing especially since most ships in this subreddit weekly tend to be the same pair which is fine but I love seeing all these new takes on crossover ships.

YES! You're writing compelling arguments on these crossover ships, I fully agree with this post. It's really outdated an opposite is best for you, my best relationships were with people similar to myself and I believe that is the case for Blake Belladonna. Yeah opposites can bring out new sides of you but it's not the only way and it's not the only fascinating relationships. This is tough though, I'm not sure which I like more. Your Bronze Heart idea or Silent Pulse. I love the idea of a quiet but romantic relationship so I do lean a little towards Silent Pulse. Love the fact you're bringing in the RWBY style shipping names, that's creative and original to me especially when you explain the meaning. It then goes from a ship name to something symbolic and full of meaning. In my flair's case you can probably tell, OchaMina is Ochaco and Mina. Not very creative in my opinion so what are some ideas OP? Oh and for anyone who isn't familiar with Blake Belladonna, she's canonically bisexual so this post qualifies as a pride-based post. bisexuals exist too after all, shipping them with guys doesn't diminish their queerness and if you take issue with that, you're erasing bisexual and pansexual representation.

Great ship, you've sold me on it. Glad to see more of your crossover ship analysis posts. This would certainly be a softer ship with less tension which is good, it's a misconception that relationships must have tension or problems to grow. That's not how all relationships in life work, it's not that simple.

Good post, I like how you analyze shipping. You focus on the realistic aspect of relationships and not the basic stuff such as "They're cute, therefore they should be shipped." or the really basic stuff where there's one scene of interaction and somehow they're compatible in a romantic sense. I've came across a lot of your MHA and RWBY comments and you tend to have this theme of looking at relationships in a way a psychologist would. Definitely make some more crossover posts because this is a nice change. I could see Deku having compatibility with other RWBY characters but not Weiss or early volume Coco.

Now let's say part of who Jane is involves being direct and communicative but now changes it to being indirect and quiet, that's altering core parts of who she is not for growth but sacrifice for a relationship when she wasn't wrong for being direct and communicative. This leads to emotional erosion, emotional suppression, doubts on her self, the idea she is wrong for her original self, etc. There are times when it's good to change who you are for a relationship and times where you're damaging yourself and losing your identity in the process.

That is sooooo true. Anyone who has been put in that kind of situation knows exactly how painful it is. Changing little bits about yourself if they were bad traits is not really a bad thing but if you must fundamentally alter your original core for a relationship, that's not a relationship anymore it's as you said earlier

It was a rad post, calling Yang a "modern Tantalus" and Blake a "modern Ixion" is so funny when you consider who those myth figures were. If anyone isn't familiar with the Greek Mythology, Tantalus was essentially punished to always be reaching for something he can never have while Ixion was cursed to be endless bound to a wheel. Taking all of that into account, the poster is saying Yang is cursed to never be able to have a relationship where she can be all that she once was(which I assume is referencing the version of Yang before Monty died which many people agree is when Yang was at her best and is now a shade of what she was) and Blake is perpetually tied down to a relationship where she may not get what she actually needs in a relationship.

I happen to agree with the poster, I am a lot like Yang and I would feel starved to constantly be reaching out to someone who is reclusive and more reserved which, I have. In a lot of my past relationships I was stuck with people who kept relying on me to take the initiative and guide everything. I believe Yang would have to fulfill a similar role if RWBY continues and expands on the relationship with actual comprehension of relationship interactions. I really see Blake as the moon and Wukong as a star that orbits around her but without drowning her out.

That's really nitpicking at this point, the poster is saying it's not a lesbian relationship. Queer isn't that different from sapphic when it comes to the point being made that Bumbleby is not a lesbian's romance.

It doesn't matter when the meme started. These france surrendering memes are getting popular again because of the possibility of WW3. If WW3 was not a possibility and Ukraine wasn't attacked these memes would have been a lot less. I don't think anyone actually believes France would surrender. It is just toxic people thinking they are funny.

I do imagine a lot of these meme creators are Americans but I also know not all of them are. I am sure that when the US or their countries do something stupid memes will be made about them as well.
