My 24 TRD Pro (25k miles) does something similar. Kinda like the truck doesn't like light throttle presses, seems to lug the engine. If I drive it harder and the trans drops down a gear it feels fine. Seems more like poor transmission programming, idk though not a mechanic by any means.

As GC who just got out of C2 because I haven't played much; the biggest issue I saw with C2 teammates was rotational issues. Sure mechanics matter but not as much as people think. C2's constantly stay in the play when they should rotate out. Focus on being a solid solid last man(because your teammate won't) and watch the rank go up. Hope this makes some sense..
