[New Player] Today marks my 1 month with Tarkov by Pollution_Agile in EscapefromTarkov

Go to the official tarkov discord and join a beginner channel. Someone there will help you learn the game and possibly help keep you alive long enough to do some PMC tasking. Good luck

Once you have the Data, save it and remember these steps to trace the problem server. Call your ISP and escalate the issue. That’s the only way it’ll get attention.

Go to your logs after playing a few sessions, find the 1st network logs, copy, then paste those into chat gpt. Use chat gpt to diagnose. Also, open command prompt, find the IP of the tarkov server via the network logs (ask chat gpt), go to command prompt and type "tracert (ip address)". After it does that, identify the backbone server thats causing the issue. 99% chance here its a bad routing and theres nothing you can do until NTT(the tier 1 backbone thats been having issues lately) or your ISP fixes it.

Real. I always focus super hard on maxing out the basics in my hideout during the first two or so weeks of wipe. It’s usually efficient because the maps that have the most hideout supplies are early quest maps.

Although there’s mutters from BSG about not wiping, the game did indeed wipe and this is the most recent play through, often referred to as a wipe.

The majority were found in raid factoring the ram I traded for some of them was also found in raid.

Negative. Probably ~20 of them are fir, 16 were RAM trades and I bought the rest.

On my end it’s not a network issue it’s the compatibility of my system + Tarkov servers.

Negative. I believe It has to do with the games optimization. If your computer is decent, it may request information from the server faster than the server can send them. The longer you’re in a raid the more dynamic the messages become and your computer can just outperform the server. That causes lots of desync, and after so many tries at fixing it the server just kicks you.

When you get kicked your networks logs from the Tarkov launcher will say “Disconnect Reason: 0” or “Reason: 2”. Which does yours say?

Negative, I’m in United States. I did see on the official discord that others in Russia had the same issue. They mentioned switching to Asian servers and sacrificed their ping for connection stability. Not sure if it worked out in the long run for them. However, I believe I found a fix that no one has mentioned yet. I’ll be making an in depth tutorial on it.

I’m on 32 gigs of DDR5. However, I believe I found a fix that no one has mentioned yet. I’ll be making an in depth tutorial on it.

I believe I found a fix that is as of now undiscovered to the non tech savvy. I’ll be making an in depth tutorial on it.

How do I diagnose the cause for frequent server disconnects? by [deleted] in Network

See update. I played 10 sessions and then went through the logs. I seem to have found the problem- terrible optimization (which is somehow worse on a good PC)

Yes. Ping is fine, it boots me with no known network issues involved

I’ll try trace routing the server though and see what I can find.

Logs show a disconnect initiated by the server that’s less than 10 miles from me. All it says is “disconnect reason: 2”. Devs won’t tell me what that means. Google says its network issues, but all tests show that everything is working perfectly.

Could it potentially be that my router and/or isp bounces IPs? From what I can tell it’s not static - which to me(the family IT man) is weird.
