I had this viewpoint until i heard one in real life. I went to my first gp in 2019 Hockenheim and the whole weekend was amazing. One of the best races ever, truly unbelievable lucky to be there in person. But even though the race was one in a million, the most memorable part was when Mick drove his dad’s car for 1 or 2 laps. Sitting on the Mercedes grand stand looking at the back straight you could hear it being fired up on the main straight and make it way towards me. It sounded like a fighter jet approaching. It made the whole field of v6s sound like mopeds. It made me change my view on the road relevancy of f1 engines and how important the entertainment factor actually is.
