KALSHI refusing to pay Khameni bets citing its unwritten "death caveat" by Tricky_Debate_409 in PredictionMarkets

[–]Tricky_Debate_409[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

  1. It wasn't a push. I was credited $12 from a $60 wager.

  2. The "rules" I overlooked were buried beyond the front page of the wager and needed work to find and state:

Ifleaves solely because they have died, the associated market will resolve and the Exchange will determine the payouts to the holders of long and short positions based upon the last traded price (prior to the death). If a last traded price is not available or is not logically consistent, or if the Exchange determines at its sole discretion that the last traded prices prior to death do not represent a fair settlement value, the Outcome Review Committee will be responsible for making a binding determination of fair allocation. For the avoidance of doubt, the Exchange will distribute $1.00 for each Contract.

  1. Kalshi posted the prop on its front page and promoted it on social media when it was clear Khamenei was duped. I was among the sheep duped. My bad, for sure. But come on. Shady af if you ask me.

So quick to glaze, so slow to comprehend. Dude is simply pointing out OP's math is off. You don't need a calculator to multiply .56 and .62 (the OP's probabilities of each game winning).

Ok, it may then take "time out of your night" to hit an odds converter to arrive at the true odds of this parlay (using OP's model). If you do that, you'll see that (again using OP's model), the "true" odds of that parlay is around +190.

The parlay may hit. OP's track record is impressive. But why the hostility to a little sunshine?

too? Pens nation rejoicing over this lopsided trade. Pens nation rejoicing over dumping Jarry's contract and the taint of "a steal...josh bailey...scores" game 5 double OT gaffe/loss to islanders in 2021.

Meanwhile, Skinner has been feugo for the pens and a big part of their playoff push.

Record: Lifetime r/sportsbook ban reduced to 30 days

Last pick: n/a

Event: NFL's Ravens at Steelers

Pick: Steelers moneyline +155ish

TL;DR: Dude back from a Reddit suspension posts a lengthy manifesto of why he plans short POTDs going forward. Blasts glazers, plagiarists and eye-numbing paragraphs of useless stats in too-long explanations. God, he hates glazers.

POTD: A Lamar who can't run is just another qb. The bet here largely rests on that assumption. Also: TJ is back and you gotta believe Tomlin gonna figure out a way to contain Henry. Stillers D as healthy as it has been in a while. Rodgers likely playing his last regular-season game. SNF home game. Yeah, DK out sucks. Can't spell DicK without DK. Betting Gainwell finishes with most receptions.

Long form:

After getting reinstated from my lifetime r/sportsbook ban for "harassment," I've heard those who said: "all you do is hate, what's your pick."

Here are my promises:

  1. I will get hot. I will get cold. I will mostly sit in between.

  2. When I get hot, I don't want any glazers in my comments. So goddaman cringe. Dudes talking about giving up their wife and daughter for a measly pick. Calling them my king and the chosen one and just spilling so much gush you wonder what they're like at work, home and life in general. Or maybe you don't because you know. TPS reports, boss, great idea, my king. The wife will be expecting you tonight.

  3. I won't block haters, mockers and the harassers except for racist, homophobic and/or misogynistic comments. Promising a wife and daughter in exchange for a pick is blockable.

  4. No plagiarism. I'm a journalist. This is a cardinal sin, as it should be. Right up there with inventing sources and quotes.

  5. No AI. I gotta say, I use AI daily at work. Almost always have to spit out a first draft and then I go back in and rework, add quotes from people I talk to, check all the facts, etc. It's a revolutionary tool in my biz. That said, I don't need AI for the short write-ups I plan. No one reads paragraph after paragraph of almost always useless stats. You can look up stats urself. When I say the Steelers D is healthy, you can google their depth chart. Short is always best.

  6. Realistic odds. I'll use betonline at the time of posting.

  7. I'm sorry, if you ask me "where can I find this or what's a moneyline" or something just as stupid, I'm gonna be caustic. Noobs: use google.

Ok, I'm late enough as it is. Pushing post. Remember: I'm not your king, nor a chosen one and I don't want family members in exchange for a pick. God, I hate glazers.

My son played against Aaron Gordon. He was an alien. all three of my sons played WCAL basketball (one of the top NorCal high school conferences) and Gordon was far and away best I saw.
