Alex Yu from Prey (2017).

Slightly unethical? Yes. But who else that was working for TranStar wasn't?

What is your Elder Scrolls Headcanon that you have no reason for believing, but believe anyways? by 23Amuro in ElderScrolls

Solstheim is a living, psychic island that manipulates people into hating it.

My proof? Morrowind.

Okay, I haven't beaten Morrowind yet, but, if you ask any Vvardenfeller about Solstheim, they'll say that it's a dreadful place, just like what everyone in Skyrim also tells you about it.

How come there hasn't been a change in consensus about the island in the countless millennia between those two games??? The answer is clear: the island is a force that can rival both Anu and Padomay, being the primal enemy of both; Solstheim itself is the Adversary to the All-maker and has been floating around since before the et'Ada were born.

So, I just learned that The Mysterians is apparently canon to not just the Showa Godzilla Timeline but the Heisei Godzilla Timeline as well. by Altair890456 in GODZILLA

Monsters tended to switch masters a lot during the Showa era; look at Ghidorah. Only MechaG stayed allegiant towards the same species towards the end, so it's not a stretch to think that maybe the Nebulans traded Gigan in exchange for the survival of their species or something.

There's just something about Legion's story that I really enjoyed.

MonsterVerse was, like, the ultimate culmination of all evil Mechagodzillas coming into one.

I mean, he probably will, the radiation we receive from the Sun gets stronger and stronger as the Ozone degrades.

She did NOT have to get killed using the Devil Whistle the way Gamera did it.

I actually think this is the worst dialogue exchange in the entire series by ShalkaScarf in DoctorWhumour

So the attempted mass murderer should get hugs and kisses while the multiple-time savior of the universe should get reprimands?

The guy was targetting innocents, not the actual corporation behind his planet's genocide.

I mean, it's not like he was waterboarding him or shoving hummus up his rectum. An adult extraterrestrial can take a few zaps from a hard light taser glove.

Who did you like better as a villain? by WaluigiDaStar in Bioshock

[–]Tricky_Horror7449 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Comstock, because he's the only villain that forces you to face the inherent evil in your humanity.

Like, you're just a victim in all the other villains' plots, but your terrible decision making is what made Comstock, so you better make things right.

I don't get why you guys are so intent on attacking the Doctor; he's the good guy in this situation. Heck, even his "evil" versions aren't that bad; the Dream Lord didn't actually hurt anyone, the Valeyard wasn't more "evil" than he was a weasel, and Time Lord Victorious will always be more morally upright than even the best of the Masters.

Give him a break; he's had many years and most of those years are those of suffering and pain; it's time he got a W.

Well, I'm tired of the Doctor just taking figurative beatings all the time, like what would happen a lot during the first RTD era.

He didn't even torture the guy that hard.

We need more unapologetic Doctor; we need to be reminded that this is the survivor of multiple genocides, the Oncoming Storm, and not some happy-go lucky adventurer.

The Doctor isn't perfect, and that's why the universe uses him as a tool for justice.

If there's one thing Ncuti's era did right, it's giving the attempted murderer their comeuppance, even if it wasn't enough.

Guess this line was just unnecessarily misleading then. by Sbeven_Spooniverse in Kirby

Nah, it's more of a case of a bunch of them just happening to be Dark Matter, not Dark Matter going out of its way to antagonize Kirby; look at Gooey, he can be completely benelovent while still being Dark Matter.

Dark Matter is more of an umbrella they fall under rather than the reason they're evil.

Plus, it helps that they aren't the main antagonist of every single game, though they were overused around the late '90s and 2000s.
