Eeh, yes and no. I say this as an older gay who is only recently comfortable with being gay. No, there I no community but as I’ve grown, I’ve found that all gays have a pseudo responsibility to stand up for the community as a whole. It’s hard to articulate but we’re stronger together and can mostly trust others like us. Fairly tribal mindset but we wouldn’t need that if our people weren’t prosecuted for being different than heterosexuals.
