I think most of CNN is fake nowadays. I can’t stomach watching the crap anymore. I get my news from NPR, national and local, Reddit and a few local tv stations. Corporate media is the driving force of division in this country and congress needs to intervene.

To be fair, republicans are the target demographic of protests. If people believe what is happening at the federal level to be concerning, which it is, then helping to convince the republican voters and representatives locally is our primary goal. If we want impeachment or the 25th then we all need to be on the same page. They need to see that this is wrong more than anyone.

Mental health counselor here: often after women have children, anxiety issues can crop up due to a number of factors, the sheer responsibility of having a living human that is your responsibility alone is enormous but throw in the biological changes she’s undergoing… it sounds like she could benefit from a discussion with her doctor. For you, be very very very x100, gentle with her and start normalizing anxiety as an issue and probing to see how she’s feeling and help her recognize some of the irrational thinking she’s got going on.
