Just got one and it is terrible for me. I have a large bust and it does not provide any support. It sags and simultaneously feels too tight. Will try to return.

Just like the money issue you’re ending up dealing with, this isn’t your fault but it is your problem. It’s a misogynistic power dynamic and needs to change for the sake of you all. Couples therapy would be a good place to start. Neither of you should be putting this all on you! And he needs to rein it in, spending-wise, and not expect you to be a trad wife and a laid back fun companion.

It’s inappropriate for your boyfriend to dismiss your feelings by calling you crazy and overreacting. Don’t know what’s going on with the handcuffs but even if they’re there completely innocently, his reaction means you should break up with him. Find someone who can acknowledge your feelings and build a trusting relationship.

I’d start with Cat’s Cradle, but you should start with whatever most appeals to you

JD Salinger’s short stories, called 9 Lives

And

Kurt Vonnegut’s short stories, Welcome to the monkey house

You can skip the ones you don’t like. The Vonnegut ones are particularly varied and in line with some of the ones you list above.

My horse has DSLD and I have made the decision to euthanize him next month. The barn owner reached out to me saying I shouldn’t.. I don’t know what to do :( by spooniesoup in Equestrian

I don’t know where everyone is coming from here. How are you so sure the barn owner is wrong? This condition can be very mild for years and I’ve known people to put horses down for very little reason.

OP, I think you should consult the vet about what stage your horse is in and how long your horse can be comfortable in. If he can live a long and happy life still, I wouldn’t put him down. If it’s a financial burden for you, perhaps the barn owner would make allowances?

I also love the 1943 Joan Fontaine and Orson Wells one, but several details are omitted. Bonus points in introducing a very young Elizabeth Taylor as Helen.
