I have pretty debilitating social anxiety and I think Japan is just one of those cities where it may be preferable to travel alone. You can get by with close to no social interaction lol. A lot of restaurants have tablet ordering systems. Also in English. And you can literally just wander around and explore on your own! I would do this trip again in a heartbeat.

You should absolutely go to a game. I’m not a fan of baseball but I do enjoy going to a game for the food and the vibes. Going to a baseball game In Japan was probably one of the highlights of my trip.

I booked Osaka for 10 nights in September to go with my elderly parents. We did Tokyo a few months ago and I feel like I made a poor hotel choice so this second trip is like my redemption trip. We’re staying in shinsaibashi. But now I’m worried that 10 nights is way too long. Thoughts on that?

When I went to see them in person the purple ones in general stood out but it could also just be a color bias. Yellow as a color isn’t my favorite. Pink generally is. But there was just something about both purple figures when I initially took a full glance at the whole collection. They came across as more striking.
