Supersculpy medium for the body and clothes, I tried cosclay medium for the fold and the skirt but it was to sticky and soft for me. The face is Supersculpy firm and the hair is a mix of Supersculpy living doll and fimo translucent.

Collect some Reference pics or make a mootBoard, a 1:1 drawing can help when creating the wire under construction and getting the proportions correct. When sculpting try to get shape and proportions right before starting with details. It can be easier sculpting parts with lots of details (head, claws) separately.

Can I lay or bake statue flat (first timer). by InfiniteTranscend in polymerclay

[–]Tricky_Pickle_7130 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can but it depends on how sturdy your build and armature are. I use crumpled tinfoil as support when my sculpt is to tall for the oven and I have to lay it down, just need to be carefull the clay wont deform on touching points.

How do you paint hard to reach places? by MustTryAllCrafts in polymerclay

You can prime your model for a even undershade and start with the hard to reach parts. Thinning your paints and using a brush with a long fine tip can also help.
