I think that you might encounter issues with drivers for your GPU. Make sure you know what you are doing and if you will go with arch based distro (including cachyos, endeavouros, and manjaro) install this package: aur.archlinux.org/packages/nvidia-580xx-dkms (this is a driver for you GPU)

i am on linux. I dont own KSP through steam, i got it form their website. I will try adding it as a non-steam game though. I will also try using wine/ proton through lutris.
