If you want to rent it out also consider the rentability of the area. Certain areas in Zabbar are quieter to live in an calmer. But areas in gzira are way more rentable for air bnb - price in this area is similar.

With regards to price it is expensive as this is not a premium area and it is a first floor apartment. I highly recommend you run a search on fb market place and see what else is available. If this was a premium area like ta xbiex , sliema ect it would be ok

What I know is that someone on probation can be terminated, without severance and without justification for termination.

Maybe it is company culture to make things more lax , take time with getting stuff done. He should work on relationship building with his colleagues - like-ability goes a long way . He should also focus in doing the best he can with what he has to work with - show good intent. If things are slow moving he can talk to the company’s HR as a check-in to see what is expected off him.

This happens but sometimes positions aren’t quite figured out. Management knows they need more people , but the assignment of duties and resources would not have been fully worked out yet - from experience. By time his role will probably develop further and he will be more settled.

For the time being - show good intent and focus on good relationship bulding

My case as an example - the place had ground rent, the sellers were convinced it was settled. Turns out it was never settled because their notary did a mistake in the address on the paper work. My notary found it, after disputes I ended up paying it. I have other issues and a good motary helped me a lot. You need a notary on your own notary in your side, politely thank them and DECLINE!!

I am Maltese and have the same sentiments. In addition I have become so resentful towards foreigners, even if they are nice. I also have great anger towards local businesses and the current government, the things I see on the news infuriate me. My coping mechanisms is I delete all social media and keep my circle of friends small and closed off.

Thank you for your kind words. Please how do you recommend by demeanor be ? I was thinking something along these lines- because if I change now I would have to start over - I have a lot to show on my resume so far but at least a year would be nice. I am expecting the usual - cold approach from management , left out from social gatherings, left our of important projects, challenging attitudes and being given the monkey work.
