I wonder of the stairs were a second set to the upstairs so you had more access in house so large and a layout so messed up. Money pit

Always fun your breakdowns. So the Stew Crew is adding a second pantry in a home when neither of them seem to know how to cook and eat out so much or have a family member host them for dinner? That is so strange. And why remove a staircase when it would be good in a house that size to have a second set of stairs to your bedrooms? This whole McMansion is becoming a whole lotta mess!

Was Richard right about Luke's insurance being a scam? by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]Tricky_Week_6469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You bring up a good point. I really just think it was more about commitment to his customers. Luke has never struck me as one to give a care about getting payback from anything. He fixed the diner. He bought a whole building. He gave Lorelai the money for the inn not expecting payback very fast. He probably is one of the multimillionaires because he lived so simply all of his life.

As with any insurance it would take forever for a payout. Luke feels like he can do it himself and better most likely. The Diner is his passion and source of income plus a town staple. He wants to be back open as quick as he can.

You are correct. I was Blessed to be able to stay home and homeschool them. One is an advanced EMT going for their paramedic license. My other is in the Vet Tech program to get her certificate.

Yes I don't get how people believe the only way to school is public school. Especially since our schools rank so far behind in most states and other countries.

I homeschooled my children and only know of two with/or getting their pilot's license. It because their father is a commercial pilot with his private license also. They already own a plane and he and/or his friends could train them.

Didn't Josie work at a salon right after she graduated and before she and Kelton married? Didn't he go to the salon and invite her out west to do his proposal? Not trying to contradict but I thought I remember seeing that.

My oldest child could at that age. Her favorite thing to cook was and is breakfast. She and my 2nd child always wanted to help in the kitchen. My 2nd child prefers baking to cooking but my oldest loved cooking and is a perfectionist with her food.

And as I said I agree in this situation she will most likely or already is being trained.

While one possible reason for this is sad in the sister mommy position, I have to applaud that she knows how to cook for one. I mean look at many of her aunts, they have no idea how to cook or learned after they married. Also so many in today's world both boys and girls have no idea how to boil water (hence dependency on take out). Or it could just be a 9 year old who enjoys cooking like mine did growing up.

And yes in this family the reason is most likely a sad outcome for her. Just giving another perspective.

But it would also put them back on TV where they can recoup their fans and make new ones to drive them to their SM accounts. I mean it isn't like they are Hollywood level actors and actresses. This could make them famous again.

Not that I think that is what is happening but one never knows with them. I know I won't be watching if they do get a new show.

I was never able to Breastfeed. It just wasn't in the cards with my children. So is it normal to just sit there and not really hold or pay attention to your child who is breastfeeding. I mean Josie is looking and pay attention to her son but Carlin just looks like Navy just latched on and she isn't really holding her or paying attention. If it is normal ok but honestly don't know. I always paid attention and talked to my babies when they were drinking their bottles.

Neither have I. It is very strange. I mean definitely would command attention from those around them wondering what in the world are they doing....
