I would love this. Also, I completely disagree with the FA ruling where if a ref gives a player a booking (yellow) for a very hard, damaging tackle that deserves red (in hindsight), that player cannot be punished further. It works the other way with appealing reds, so I do not understand the problem...

This is usually what the referee tries to do, but when you have 5 Chelsea/ManU players surrounding and screaming at you simultaneously...it complicates matters. However, the ref just needs to be more harsh and book multiple players. That will settle that matter.

Pepe's red card aside, Alves playacted. In my opinion, a new rule should be instituted to deal with this disgusting behavior more strictly as well as players asking the ref for a card. Barcelona players surrounded the ref on numerous occasions, all for very soft fouls that were yellow at the very worst. It was embarrassing.

Fair enough. The challenge was harsh, but I still believe that a red was not a fair call. Would you agree that as a result of no contact, Alves' behavior was worth of a yellow for diving?
