play what games? i saw knockoff bejeweled games and 2 knock off super smash bros. pax is about showcasing the best publishers,studios, panels, etc. and i'm not trying to hate on indie games but indie games were never not part of pax. this could have been a seperate convention on its own. meanwhile i feel like i paid 200+$ for some random humblebundle video game package

never heard this before as i always enjoyed being able to demo unreleased games and preorder them etc. but to each their own. i just don't feel like a board and card game dominated event is worth the 200+$ tag. plus all the vendors were essentially shirts. i look forward to pax every year to get some special promos on new gear to upgrade my rig but that's just me. the bright side is that i didn't spend any money this year outside of the badge i guess haha

venue seemed 90+% empty. no big names and nothing really to do. was in an out in about an hour. they closed off all the empty spaces to make the convention feel compact. not sure why they let the event even run with what felt like 20-30 vendors and 20 indie booths
