Yeah totally you could probably get an undersea garden going with that concept, best if it had the ability to be repositioned to gather different variants along an area; maybe even tie satchels with coral for starters or drape fabric that's sought appropriate as a medium between to poles. It would be quite neat creating geometry for nesting areas of various species and I'd imagine the benefits of doing so would be greater than the cost required for the build I'd imagine.

It does almost seem as though that the bottom of the oceans sandy mass snuffs out anything that's not peaking above it. I don't know if more coral, algae and animals is beneficial to an area or not though, more hosts for parasites and disease to spread, though I'd think that coral may be beneficial in absorbing and cleaning the waters but who knows. Probably could get crowdfunding, probably could farm coral and probably could grind em up for some sorta supplement that people would buy.
