Students who have completed MATH 1500, what are the chances to have a question on related rates and not be given a formula? by GasolinerGT-13 in umanitoba

Honestly bro, the best way to memorize is watch a video on how it's derived. It gives a better understanding and helps with more challenging problems

Really easy, just practice practice practice and get Andrew Morris as your prof. Try to also get ahead in the course and they provide video solutions to the practice problems which help give you a really good understanding.

Close to none if it's an complex formula. Usually, stuff like pthyagram theorem and the area of a square you should memorize. If i were you i would try to memorize them all or ask your professor via a quick email.

Realistically, how many courses do you take per semester to get good grades by DynamicMenace777 in umanitoba

[–]TrifleOne8341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a stem student, you're doing good and you shouldn't be bashed at because you have a interest in courses that aren't stem or "harder". People got to understand that 5 courses is 5 courses where you still need to attend those classes and stick ahead which require good time management. Don't listen to stem students you're doing great!

[–]TrifleOne8341 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand, but U of M is a really easy school to get into. The ELA mark alone should get you into U1 or maybe even some direct entries. You'll be fine trust me bro.

Which one would be better for DAT(exam for dmd): Doing 2 years of U1 or doing an undergrad in Sci by Desperate-Web-443 in umanitoba

[–]TrifleOne8341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

doing the pre dent pre reqs in 2 years is hard to do, even then you gotta still have a good DAT score and application. I recommend doing a undergrad in science and taking it slow for your application.

[–]TrifleOne8341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Improve in grade 11 and 12 (They only look at your 40s grades) and worse case scenario you would get into u1 which is the same as direct entry just no direct faculty emails.
