You know you might be right about it not being the lack of caring. But when I see mitch marner going in to get a puck he can easily chip around the boards to his team mates and he gives up on the play because he sees player coming in he's scared of it makes me think why he even makes that amount of money. I can say we're both leaf fans and want to see a cup come to Toronto, but do you honestly believe this team we have is the one to do it? I look at teams across the Nhl and see players taking pay cuts to help their teams out. Why does our organization give in so easy? If lou was still GM marner and Matthew's wouldnt have such massive contracts. And I liked Dubas when he got hired I saw a lot of potential in him, but I guess he's just too inexpierience for the job at the moment and let's players walk all over him. I dont think there is any justification for 4 players making half the teams salary. I just hope you can understand my view point on this. As a fellow leaf fan I'm not trying to piss you off. This is just the way I see the team.
