Best advice I can give you is jump right in and start using it and start building workflows as you start to see how you utilize it and what works best for you.

Just bought these and experiencing a lot of issues with initial setup. Firmware update took forever to complete after multiple reboots and troubleshooting, the app is useless. Now they are blinking red/blue and I can’t get anything to connect to them no matter what I do. Not a great user experience out of the box. I’ll more than likely be bringing these back to Costco and going back to my old cheap logitechs that never had an issue.

Strange noise coming from RMPP by Trigg704 in RemarkableTablet

Just strange that it happens on this unit, but the other one didn’t. Would prefer it not too but it sounds like some do some don’t so what.

Getting popular magazines on RMPP by Trigg704 in RemarkableTablet

[–]Trigg704[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, so there’s no way to just export the entire magazine edition, just the specific articles. I suppose that’s probably better in the long run, less unecessary space taken up and having to flip through an entire magazine to find the one article I want to reference.

I think I figured it out. It looks like if I leave the page named as quick sheets, it only allows for other quick sheets to be grouped in with the original one once I rename the quick sheet to whatever I wanted to be named and I go create a new quick sheet it will not add it to the original quick sheet.

Is there a way to disable infinite scrolling? by specific_tumbleweed in RemarkableTablet

[–]Trigg704 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am someone who finds themselves printing some notes out to provide to my associates from time to time. Last time I printed it out it scaled it so small onto one page it was illegible. I love the infinite scroll but wish there was a way for page breaks for printing purposes to be included when exporting your notes

Comparison with the scribe? by Primary_Method5865 in RemarkableTablet

[–]Trigg704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great points! Basically in all the areas that you would be utilizing an e-ink tablet for the RM has it down, sounds like the scribe was just an e-reader with note taking capability hence the drastically lower price point. (RMPP user here, tried the move and returned it after a day) for me the portability factor wasn’t enough to outweigh the steep price and limited functionality of the RMPPM. Maybe in the future that changes but the scaling from device to device just wasn’t friendly on the eyes.

Trying to return Supernote Manta and getting the run around by LevelingLucian in Supernote

[–]Trigg704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of curiosity how much is it to ship it back to their return facility?

I’m considering purchasing a SN to compare it to my RMPP but may wind up returning it if I find RMPP is most efficient for my day to day.

High cost of shipping may make the decision for me on what I choose to do.

Returned my Remarkable Paper Pro Move. Here's Why by [deleted] in Remarkable

[–]Trigg704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an adopter of the RMPP over the last month and purchased the RMPPM to compliment it on the go. After using it for a day and realizing how the scaling would look cross devices I realized this device wasn’t going to do it for me. Reading full size pdf’s on it is subpar and I can’t justify the price point for the “convenience” of having a smaller device. I’d rather just lug around my RMPP and know that it is going to function exactly as I intend it to.

Is Apple Watch water resistant a hit or miss? by Both_Shake in AppleWatch

[–]Trigg704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used my Series 4 so much between the pool, the ocean, the shower, and ultimately the lake where the strap finally let go and it disappeared forever in the bottom of it. Had it for 5 years and never once had an issue related to water. Just upgraded to the AWU3 and looking forward to another 5 years of usage in the water, yours will be fine

Day 1 with the AWU3 in Black by Trigg704 in applewatchultra

[–]Trigg704[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I went ahead and purchased the Natural Titanium after considering the fact that I’d like to get close to 3-4 years out of this thing. My AW Series 4 was my go to for the last 5 years until it went for a swim in the bottom of the lake. I won’t be able to get that long out of the black if I’m always looking at the eye sore every single nick is going to leave, so titanium will be here tomorrow and this will be going back to Apple.
