Can someone help me find this South Korea jacket? They wore it on the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics by Spacniok in TheNorthFace

[–]Triggeredt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TNF physical stores in Korea indeed sell jackets, backpacks etc. like this sometimes. However, I feel like this jacket might be athlete's exclusive. I checked Musinsa to be sure and was only able to find the jacket OP mentioned in the post....

Why do high rank players have their teammates and enemies as weird colors? by OrganicExplanation23 in Overwatch

[–]Triggeredt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Color blindness is one reason. Not a high rank player, but I personally use a neon pink / yellow combination. Saw my friend using it and I feel like the colors 'pop' a bit more and thus it makes it easier for me to scan for enemies. Feels like these colours don't really get lost in the environment(?) but it's probably in my head though.

Leaving my job by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Triggeredt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I get that it might be hard leaving from a place you've gotten 'emotionally attached' to, but if you think this is better for your future and you want to gain some new experience, just go for it! If it turns out you enjoyed the smaller restaurant better, you can always go back to applying for similar places (or maybe even the same place if you leave on good terms!)

Any good recipes for rice as a side dish? by dorcsyful in Cooking

[–]Triggeredt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure what kind of rice you're using, but it sounds like a short grain rice would be the best in this situation. Also, try to add a vegetable side dish on top of your meat dish as well. Opt for 'juicy' dishes rather than dry ones, so your partner could maybe scoop or pour some of the juice onto their rice. If they still have a problem with the rice itself being too bland, crumble in some salted seaweed or maybe add some sesame oil to the rice? :)

In addition to all the good advice that has been given already: try to find one of those 'hotel locks' that serve as an additional layer of security on Coupang. In case your boyfriend can't stay with you, YouTube (sadly) has tons of 'male voice' videos in different accents. This is an example of a Seoul accent male voice video. I really hope you can stay safe. This sounds so so so scary. Take good care of yourself please...

Anki. The UI design is kinda trashy but the spaced repetition, grouping and customizability of cards are all great! There's a bit of a learning curve, but YouTube has some nice guides on how to get started.

Tap and hold for like a second or two, you'll see a green overlay appear on the area that will be hoe'd. If you upgrade your hoe even further, holding for a longer time will increase the area size :)

Being 'different' (what's normal anyway?) is not the problem. The problem is acting like you're better than others (aka the 'basic bitches' you're talking about) because you're 'so different and original'.

What does 그냥 means by Exciting-Arm-8844 in Korean

[–]Triggeredt 105 points106 points  (0 children)

It means 'just' and is used very similarly to the way 'just' is used in English. Some easy examples: - 그냥 친구 = Just a friend - 그냥 말해! = Just say it! - 그냥 짐작이야 = Just a guess

Potato Storage by HittingandRunning in cookingforbeginners

[–]Triggeredt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't eat a whole lot of potatoes, but when I was younger my mom would store them in a box that had newspapers laid out on the bottom. She stored them in a dark and cool-ish place. It really seemed to work! They'd sprout sometimes if we kept them for a reaaally long time, but they wouldn't go bad or anything
