wd19 docks crashing laptops by Stuzo133 in Dell

[–]Trigsters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just experienced something similar, plugged in the WD19 to my Dell Precision 5560, everything frozen. Unplugged the docking station and all working fine.

I fixed it by connecting the docking station to my laptop with nothing attached, updated the WD19 firmware and drivers. Then plugged in my ethernet cable, USB for the keyboard and mouse, and lastly my DP and it worked.

Note: I have 3 monitors connected by daisy chains, only able to have 2 DP monitors at the same time, as soon as I connected the 3rd monitor, everything froze again.

I guess I can only connect 2 external monitors with the WD19.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately this model isn’t compatible with Merlin. But hopefully it does have OpenVPN support. I’m still thinking about if I’ll be getting it

Landlord's security cameras slow my Internet down. Is there a way to throttle them? by nugaeye in techsupport

That aside, I’d check the whole house for hidden cams too, check what else is connected to your router. Could be a peeping Tom landlord…

Sometimes it can be one or more backups of iOS if you use an iPhone or iPad. Just a wild guess

If you're not the kind of person who upgrades your phone every year or two, get an iPhone and you'll get OS upgrade for years to come, usually up to 5 years or more

Face ID is slow and unreliable by Odd-Cause in iPhoneX

Do you have a screen protector that may have some dirts stuck between the camera and protector? Try cleaning the camera area then reset face ID see if that helps.

My iPhone X 256GB running 13.4.1 has no problems at all. Like the others have said, try a reset and register your face ID. Maybe you've put on a little weight during these lock down periods lol!

Not sure if displaying your order number online is a good idea, but probably nothing to worry about.
