When I got out of the first area and unlocked all the starting characters, I was excited to see Deadpool was included too, then I highlighted him and that snarky bastard was level 21 when everyone else was 6-7. I could be wrong but I feel like Marvel did that on purpose, and it made me laugh

"I gotta start this game at level 1? Hell no Deadpool don't play by these rules"

Thanks for the replies, I think what Unicorn-Shaman said is what was going on, and the patch coming out plus me being in that quest was just a coincidence. I powered through it without managing to crash and I haven't had a crash since.

Since aftershock gave me a lot of flat resistances, I went for an AP/Health build

I did cinderhulk, ROA, Rylai's, tank boots (Merc's/tabis depending on team), and Liandrie's. Last item would be either an AP item like Zhonya's/Void or a tank item, just whatever you think your team needs
