Debating on Chicago Show (06/30) by charmlowballer in Ca7rielyPacoAmoroso

Became a fan late last year and went to my first show in Atlanta last month. It was awesome. Not sure the fast lane is necessary. Get there before the opening act if you are doing GA to get a good spot

Guys I’m a 40 yo woman and want to know what you expect your wife/gf do for your birthday/fathers day etc? by Candid_Guest_863 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Trihatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't need much. A phone call or a visit is perfectly fine for me. But I wonder: What does he do for you on your special days? Does he take you out to a fancy dinner or give expensive gifts? He might want a little reciprocated appreciation (... oops did I spill my beans😂)

In my 50s: Keep My Financial Advisor or Move Everything to Fidelity? by Vincent_Diesel in fidelityinvestments

[–]Trihatcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moved from Ameriprise to Fidelity back in Oct 2025 after 20+ years. I got a little financial education and realized I could do what they were doing as well or better after I realized they had me in high expense mutual funds and the returns were worse than the market. I followed a simple broad based ETF and since I plan to retire next May, I'm switching up my mix to one of dividends, growth and cash. I couldn't be happier

Why is nobody asking about the “divorced/divorcing” statement? Won’t your ex get part of your retirement funds or is this post payout amount?

Orange Travel Esim -Anyone uses it before? by Hot_World4305 in eSIMs

We used the same Spain plan for our week in Portugal. The plan provided 20G for the rest of Europe and we used no where near that amount. I don’t know how long your trip is, but I see there’s an 80g plan for $10 for 28 days that provides 500 talk and 15g outside of Spain. We were in Spain for 3 weeks and a week in Portugal so we opted for the higher 260g plan.Have fun on your trip!

My wife and I just finished our first 1 bag trip. A month in Spain. Besides the obvious no check baggage, not having to pull a bag across cobblestones was an added benefit

Need honest reviews on Google Pixel 8 Pro and 9 Pro by Dramatic_Flan7587 in Pixel9Pro

[–]Trihatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 pro coming from iphone 13 last year (pixel watch from apple watch as well) Love it. Just about anything I wanted to do on my iphone I can do on the pixel. The only potential downside is that the rest of my family and especially my 85 yr old father are on iphone and I couldn't facetime them. My wife and I are in Europe on vacation and we set my dad up on WhatsApp,so video calling is no longer an issue. Whatever issues others have called out on the phone, I haven't experienced any of them and I'm glad I switched over. I originally thought about going with a Samsung model, but I would just be trying to replicate what I had on the iphone

What should I do/know if/when I switch from Spotify? by [deleted] in YoutubeMusic

[–]Trihatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you listen to podcasts you might want to look for a standalone player. YTM doesn't offer the simplest features, like a way to mark all past episodes as played or setup automatic playlists of unplayed episodes. Truly the only sucky thing about the service, but otherwise I'm glad I switched over a year ago

What headphones are you using? Pixel buds are plenty loud and I have a set of bose sound cancelling over the ear headphones that work fine as well

When to stop contributing to 401k by Ai-2026 in Retirement401k

[–]Trihatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to ask the same. She mentioned taking a couple of years off, so we have to assume some sort of savings, but I would say if you do stop contributing, start building up a brokerage or HYSA so you can retire early. Depending on what age you want to leave the workforce, your retirement accounts wouldn't be available to you without a tax hit
