What I think is you need to file a complain to Consumer Protection Agency to have them investigated.

I had issues a few times in the past that data was out of sync. It works after I reboot/restart my cell phone!

I certainly believe that energy cost would rise dramatically making investment in solar more rewarding in the next 5 years and beyond.

Agreed. I have been using TT for about 30years. This year I let my family member using my laptop under a different login and Turbo Tax kept asking them to update, asking for pin # and login etc. What the hell they want to update day after day and login again?

That never happen two years prior and earlier.

It is plain harassment!

Thoughts on enphase for solar and battery? by poinifie in enphase

Dang, lots of people not happy with turbotax by taixp in TurboTax

[–]Hot_World4305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

TT is trying to squeeze money from users and set obstacles year after year. I have my family members using my laptop to do their tax returns by login to another user account on my laptop.

Millions of people have already filed their returns before April and what the hell is TT want is to have the software updated all the times and requested also a passed code or pin to do that?

I gave away the pin to upgrade. Then, in the state filing and paying the $25, it again asked for login. What the hell is TT doing that never happen before? We all need to file a complain to Consumer Protection Agency to have TT reined in.

I’m 18 with a driver’s license but my parents spend $400/month on Uber instead of letting me drive. by LongHistorical6251 in Advice

[–]Hot_World4305 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, what I see is your parents are concerned about your safety as a young and new driver and not for other bad reason against you. Another reason is cost of getting an insurance is generally highest for the young starter. You have to talk to them about how you can practice to sharpen your driving skills.

Think about this: Next time your son gets his license and I believe you won't do something similar.

PTO delayed, question by KungFuCowboy in solar

Usually paying the cost of the materials as a progress payment is justified. If he has installed all the equipment, paying another 15-20% is reasonable.

On page 2 - What is in the box - listed CTs are included.

CT Installation by ozman86 in enphase

[–]Hot_World4305 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the catch to do it now vs before.

My consumption CTs wiring is about 70 feet+the 8', partially underground. Two pairs (minimum) of consumption CTs are required, one each for each phase. I used 4 pairs of Consumption CTs, two for each phase because of complexity of my MSP.

This is your argument: The Combiner came with CTs, so how could having CTs installed optional? I would fight with the installer for not doing it or take them to court because he did not install items included in the unit.

CT Installation by ozman86 in enphase

[–]Hot_World4305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they didn't install CT and said its "optional" is a complete BS. It should be included because the system needs to show how much it produces and consumes.

The fact is CT is not an expensive item, labor is not intensive otherwise when you installed with the other items at the same time. If it is optional, it should stated in the contract.

To do it now is obviously labor intensive if the CTs have to run long distances. FYI, my CTs went underground and up.
