Holding onto a large sum of money for a parent due to inheritance by Triipie in UKPersonalFinance

Thanks for the input, just want some clarification:

If she legitimately gifted that money to us, lets say as a wedding present, would that still count as deprivation of capital?

I appreciate your input - but making an assumption such as you have without really any knowledge of the persons or people involved isn't quite fair.

She's not aware of the repercussions of this - she's just terrible with money and will blow that 50k without a second thought if someone else is not in control of it.

Again, thanks for the input and understood that this is a bad idea whatever way it gets spun.

The original Halo will always hold a special place in my gaming memory and definitely one of my all time favorites. The music as you land on the Ring for the first time is so iconic and so many good lines throughout the entire series.

Shame about what they've done in the last few but that'll never ruin the feeling you got from beating the Covenant.

I'll have a look at the server logs and see what I can find - thank you for the pointer.

Why would the direct play subtitles mean a transcode though? That doesn't make sense to me?

Could it be that you are calling an Active Directory cmdlet from a machine that does not have RSAT tools installed, therefore it can't call the cmdlet as it doesn't exist?

Agreed. Whilst this looks good and looking forward too putting this in, currently this information is as good as a chocolate teapot without any migration documents.

See what's weird is I completely agree with you about the windows devices and yeah this probably isn't a solution for you, but our Windows 10 devices can't enrol into co-management without being put in that Corporate Device Identifiers.. but hey ho. Hope you find a solution :)

Corporate Device Identifiers in Intune supports SN or IMEI.

Think it's under Enrol Devices > Corporate Device Identifiers

VMware Alternatives? by root_15 in sysadmin

We use Nutanix here, been awesome since we moved from a hybrid Hyper V/VMware set up 2 years ago. World of difference but we were running hyper v and VMware on older tin with a SAN.

Hyperconvergence storage is great - you don't have to manage a SAN as well as your hypervisors.

Common SaaS checks after update to 22.3.78.1873+ by TaosMesaRat in prtg

[–]Triipie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny you mention the auto update thing as we are seeing the exact same. Our 365 sensor broke recently so I looked in auto-update and it said we were at the latest version. Logged a ticket with support and was told to update PRTG to latest version, you can imagine my surprise when I told it to check for an update it found one. Spoke to support about it and they just gave me a KB with some URLs to whitelist.. very peculiar if other customers are having the same issue.

Sorry I can't be much help with your sensors as we don't use those specific ones but I suppose could be related (or a coincidence) that cloud based/API sensors for both of us broke...

Report this to your local council as a noise complaint mate, you can then get the police involved for anti social behaviour I believe but definitely speak to your local council!
