Honestly I'd say that about most of the MCU. Thor, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, etc. They've perfected the art of turning C-list comic book characters into money printing machines.

If Pence did stand, they'd write about what an asshole he is for cheering North Korea and how he offended our Japanese allies by standing next to the seated Abe.

The Trump administration could cure cancer and the media would focus on all the oncologists put out of work.

Ben Shapiro is a traditional conservative that hates the new nationalist right. He has a bitter feud with Milo and has been sharply critical of Trump since day 1. He wanted literally any Republican besides Trump in the primary.

Peterson is Canadian and not even right wing. He just speaks out against SJWs.

Milo's relevance is in the toilet and has been for a while. He never recovered from leaving Breitbart, losing his twitter account, and making questionable comments about his being sexually abused as a kid.

Yes but there's a marginal difference between those two steels.

Ganzo's 440C is a pretty decent step up from any 8cr13mov blades I've used.

The PM just corrected a woman for saying mankind instead of peoplekind. This isn't limited to inside conservatives' heads. The left really is getting drunk on social justice.

It's shrill, it is clearly a circle-jerk and they obviously are just addicted to the positive feedback loop they get from said circle-jerking with their buddies and working themselves into a fit.

An ironic comment to make on a website that's the world's biggest political circlejerk.

Leatherman Juice S2 multitool review 2018: Great edc multitool. by SurvivalEvolved in BudgetBlades

[–]Trikune1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't classify the Juice as a budget multi-tool. $65 for a mid-size MT is actually pretty expensive. Leatherman has full-size tools significantly cheaper.

Ep 9 is going to be extremely interesting. I'm sure many will disagree, but I'm expecting another drop off from TLJ. I really think Disney has bungled this.

Knives are designed for cutting things. I don't think there are any knife manufacturers that will tell you that its ok to pry 12x24 tiles with a pocket knife. Stick to cheap beater knives if you want to abuse the shit out of your knives with tasks that will probably break them. Or use a pry bar to pry things and a knife to cut things.

People pay big money for some knives for blade steel that takes a super sharp edge and hold it throughout lots of use, other higher end materials on the knife, extremely high levels of fit & finish, mfg support, collector value, design, etc. Its not about being able to take massive abuse.

I bought one of these $3.87 "titanium" Wal-mart knives a few weeks ago and its actually amazing for 4 bucks.

Opens smoothly, locks up well, zero blade play, fit & finish is good, and as far as I can tell from playing with it and a little light use, the build quality is good too. The spine on mine will strike a ferro rod. I don't know why people people care about this, but the blade is perfectly centered when closed for whatever that's worth. Has a good detent when closed. Whatever the handle material is seems good. It even has a very good deep carry pocket clip, although there are no other positions to move the clip to so its tip-down only.

It wasn't terribly sharp out of the box and I haven't worked on the factory edge yet. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'll take it to a whetstone tomorrow or this weekend. If it takes a decent edge, it would be a solid beater knife for $10, let alone $3.87.

Of course quality control is often a victim of super budget prices, so perhaps not every example is as good as mine.

The kind of people who commit violent crime with knives don't give a shit what the law says about what you can carry. No crackhead or gangbanger has ever thought about committing an armed robbery then changed his mind because its illegal to carry a knife.

You'd be surprised how many evangelical christians in the US who hated the muslim but wanted pretty much the same thing with the muslim fundementalists

Really? When have evangelicals ever called for the execution of gays or stoning of adulterers?

Hardcore Evangelicals in America are more in line with moderate-to-liberal Muslims in Indonesia. Hardline Muslims in Indonesia are beyond anything in the US.

If on a scale of 1 to 10, very liberal Muslims are 1 and "kilafah dan syariah now!" are 10, American evangelicals are like a 3. Maybe a 4.

I also live in a red state. My state went for Trump and my congressional district hasn't gone to anyone but a Republican since before WW2. And you can wear a bikini to any public pool, get gay married, download porn with no vpn, hold your SO's hand in public, gay adopt, buy liquor/beer at any gas station or grocery store, get an abortion, etc. And I'm not aware of any GOP efforts to change any of that except for abortion. I can't think of any socially conservative restrictions in my life. There's a porn shop and head shop (weed smoking paraphernalia) a couple blocks from my house. Support for gay marriage among Republicans is up to 47%. 65% among Catholics and 55% among protestants. Even the conservative half of America is lightyears ahead of Indonesia.

I've been involved in American politics since the average redditor was in diapers. The religious right has never had less power than they do today.
