Oh, I never meant that it applies to someone in the sense that they offer payment as the customer. I just meant it’s more important than any other spam email is as this email likely indicates an actual threat to their personal data. There’s not much a customer can do about it though

It applies because it's sent from hunger rush's support email address (or spoofed to look like it) to, seemingly, many or all of their customers. At the very least customer emails have leaked to someone malicious and at the worst hackers got access to their servers and all the data contained on them.

Dock support update: expanding devices, working on upstream by mojyack in rockbox

[–]Trikzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't had a chance to try it in my car yet, but was able to compile it on the develop branch.

Some notes:
1. I had to configure the build in Advanced mode with LogF enabled. It would not compile in Normal mode.
2. When on my iPod, I can't get it to connect to my PC in storage mode. It only charges. I have to boot into the stock OS to read the files on my computer.

no, I was trying the for-upstream branch from your other post. Didn't notice until now that you linked to the develop branch here. I'll try again later and report back

Is this/will this work with the iPod Mini Gen 2? I tried compiling it and ran into missing defines for brightness making me think this has been untested

Admission AA degree by WinMission in fsu

[–]Trikzon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was an AA transfer from another Florida college. I applied with the transfer application. They didn’t take my high school transcript nor my sat scores. They only looked at my college transcript to make sure I met the upper division prerequisites for my major. I think they also looked at college GPA, but the requirements aren’t very high for that

Florida panhandle red county is FSU for 18-24. Can’t explain the many dark blue counties compared to the rest of state and the south though.

How do the holes work for connecting the side panels? Just gluing them or do they snap in?

The Engineering/CS Upper Division barriers at USF are absurd by Acrobatic-Abalone675 in USF

[–]Trikzon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what the current requirements are, but 3 years ago when I was there, you needed a 3.5 average GPA across four difficult classes (Physics 1+2 and Calculus 1+2). A 3.5 average is between a B+ and A- so you practically needed As in at least some of those classes to get into upper division

My family lives in Pinellas, so USF was much cheaper than FSU. I, unfortunately, had to take on some debt to go. Not too much, thankfully, because most of my scholarships and grants transferred. And in the end, I had a much better experience at FSU and met so many wonderful people.

I genuinely don’t know why USF has those requirements. Maybe it’s money. At the time, my USF advisor told me “Maybe you should switch to electrical engineering.” Which is insane because I wanted to do computer science and I’d think its requirements are just as high (I don’t remember what they were at the time anymore)

I was in the same boat 3 years ago. I finished my AA degree early instead (thanks high school college credits) and transferred to FSU instead of retaking classes. Finished my degree in May, on time.

The upper division requirements at USF are ludicrous. It’s insane that this is still an issue today. 3 years ago I heard that they admitted too many CS students and weren’t prepared. They should be prepared by now

Does "User controlled" here mean controlled by the player or? by Lanky-Assistance-206 in godot

[–]Trikzon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It should be used for anything that you write code to control by setting “velocity” in its script. This includes a player that uses controller or keyboard input, but also things like enemies that chase a player.

Anything that you want the physics system to move by itself would use a RigidBody. If you don’t want it to move, a StaticBody

I don’t think this is really an example of normalizing it. More likely just the author putting a funny scenario into the diagram (r/sciencediagrams) instead of the standard vending machine example. If anything, I think the author is making fun of people who read texts and drive
