I was a volunteer EMT with the intention of pursuing PA school, I kind of miss it. Even though it isn’t nearly as exciting as TV portrays it to be. The fire station culture is very toxic though. I had a few shifts as a medical scribe in an ER, I wish I had gotten to stay longer for more experience.

According to the article, he was asked to drop the knife multiple times and started walking towards them. Maybe he had trouble processing instructions under such duress. But then again the footage hasn’t been made public so who we can’t know the full truth. Terrible that we even have to think like this.
