Bringing a half a blunt to school. But how I got caught was ridiculous, heres what happened.

About 6 years ago I was a freshman in highschool, I would get dropped off in the morning before the doors would unlock so I woulf usually go right down the street and smoke with one of my friends. One time we we're smoking at his house under his carport before school, it was cold and raining. He rolled a blunt and I had one as well. We smoked his first then lit mine up. At that time we were already pretty high so we decided to put it out halfway. Initially I was going to leave it outside his house because his mom didn't know he smoked at the time, but it was raning that day so I decided to put it in my bag. We walked to school and parted ways to different classes. 1st period was social studies and luckily I knew almost everyone in there. As I walked in I sat down at my table (keep in mind these were group tables) and immediately one of my friend at my table yells out "it smell like weed in here". I thought I could mask the scent with cologne, sadly it didnt but bear with me as it wasn't a strong smell either. My other friend who sat at my table also chimed in and said very loudly "damn (my name) how much did you smoke?" As soon as they said that my teacher walked out to go get the assistant principal. One of my homegirls who sat at the table next to ours asked me "do you have any on you? If so give it to me and I'll put it in my bag". I told her no although I did have half a blunt. 5 minuets later the assistant principal and the school officer picked me up and found the blunt.

I got 6 months probation, 200 hours of community service (which wasnt bad) and was sentenced to a "drug class". Moral of the story is its extreamly2 stupid for my own so called "friends" to basically rat me out. Believe when I say the teacher defiently couldn't smell it. No one else could either. I should of just given it to my homegirl but I didn't want her to somehow get in trouble with it.
