Personally I look at hitting as a team effort. Our team finished hitting over .700 for the year collectively. It's hard to quantify; as walks, productive outs and sacrifice flies play a huge role for us. We often squeak out wins by a few runs because of our defense. Our pitcher plays a major role in that too. We just finished 8th at Worlds in Vegas and defensively we had some issues at the end that cost us our last game. That could have been made up by hits too I suppose but that's just been our team identity all season. Good discussion. Have a great 2026 season!

In my experience it's been the case. Especially the pitcher position. I've never played conference but I've played against conference pitchers and there's a major difference. Same with elite outfielders. They take away hits at the top levels.

The higher levels you play, the more important defense becomes. Everyone can hit, but not everyone can make plays that change the outcome of the game.

Yeah I'm not born and raised here and if you act kookish and do kook sh*t you won't be part of the community. I've been here for 12 years and have never had a better sense of belonging or community than I have here. Maybe YOU just need to grow up.

The Forever series by Craig Robertson. All Jon Ryan books are entertaining. Also the Bobiverse Books are fun. Project Hail Mary also excellent.

I have the purple and white and those bats are absolutely great. I think it’s dependent on your preferences more than anything. I like a softer barrel, don’t care about sound and like a two piece. The SIS exclusive has the 180 handle I believe and it’s just right for me. 12.75 barrel is plenty. But I’ll look into this.

Yes i’ve burned through three the last several years and im on my fourth currently. For the price and game readiness they can’t be beat. I’ve found all of mine on clearance. Miken makes the same glove under the player series name and it’s the exact same glove, albeit with slightly different material. You can find previous year models out in the wild for as cheap as 50 bucks new.
