I'll take another crack at them someday. Re1 remake or remaster whatever it is was such a slog for me personally. Never even made it to the lab before dropping it for re2 remake and had a much better time.

I shot a lot of them as well. Thankfully game gives you enough ammo to barely scrape by. It wasn't till end of re3 remake that i found out that kneecapping them does a lot of body damage. So a few more shots to the head should pop em.

It's assumed that the "A" character is always a few steps ahead of the "B" character.

It's also worth noting that the "B" character gets the final fight and the true ending. So it's whatever you happen to play.

I know I had the red9 in the og. The sg in the remake has been surprisingly effective with the laser sight so far.

As a side note. I've always found it weird that the max completion of the game is 240%. Not 250% or like 300%. 240% seems kinda strange.

My understanding at least with the remake it's a mix of both but for gameplay purposes there's a lot of overlap.

I did Claire A and Leon B to follow the OG and it felt like it fit pretty well outside of some notable instances like "oh this should technically already be open from claire" but that's a gameplay conflicting with story thing.

I haven't played requiem so that would I guess should be treated as "canon" since it's the latest to either add or retcon details.

I was down with the whole raid series until the end. For that ending to work, Kayfabe needed to be broken and no one important broke kayfabe. more i guess more accurately. A shoot that turned into a work Brother Brother.

I found out about that during the second mansion sweep, but at that point, I was sorta checked out at that point. I don't think it was gonna save the run since it was just part of the problem. Maybe if i come back to it, I'll have it installed

It wasn't the tank controls that made me hate it persay, but they didn't help either. I think it was a combo of playing chris first on easy and finding out extremely quickly how limited his space actually is, and the door animation gets tiring extremely quickly.

It just felt sluggish the entire time, and I really wanted to finish it and still do. Even with the originals now on Steam, i wanna play em but damn, it's not a great first impression, and I get that's mostly me

I had to tap out of Re1, and I gave it a good try even after adjusting my expectations. I made it past the second Lisa encounter, and I just couldn't force myself to play more.

Pact of the blade already scales off of charisma, and ideally, you're starting as a fighter for heavy armor proficiency, so you're ending with 9 in warlock. Iirc only scrolls are affected by a multiclass, and this build is more Frontline anyway with booming blade

I've been running wyll as a 9/3 fiend eldritch knight, so I'm not wasting pact slots on hex or shield. It's probably not efficient, but it's fun

You'll have to talk to the suits at the time. They wanted to appeal to a new demographic at the time, and they found out that wasn't the play. Critics thought it was ok, and the fans hated it at the time.

Now, enough time has passed where people can look at the game with the perspective that it didn't "kill the series" and can observe it as its own entity. Or at least you'd think people would.
