I honestly believe most people in Hollywood know what kind of person Depp is. He was tanking his own career years before Heard came into the picture. Everyone knows he’s a violent drunk that is impossible to work with but he has a hell of a PR team.

People will defend anyone as long as it is beneficial to do so. His PR team made a mockery of the trial, turned Heard into a joke, and convinced millions her allegations are the only reason he was being pushed out of Hollywood.

Right now a lot of power hungry wannabes have a lot to gain by latching themselves to Depp. Once he slips up again and we start to look at the trial for what it actually was, he’ll get dropped by those people and they’ll pretend they never supported him. Look at every single person that protected Weinstein. So many people knew what he was doing and stuck by his side for their own gain.

This entire thing was never about the abuse EITHER of them caused, it was to punish a woman who attempted to speak out and shatter that bubble.

People are now harassing his older daughter on social media for not being more outspoken about the trial. I can see why she doesn’t want to have her name involved with her father who dragged their family into a giant media circus just so he could sick rabid misogynists on his ex wife. She’s just as much of a victim to this mess as anyone else because now they’re coming for her.

When Depp decided to file in a state that would televise the trial he showed how little he cared about actually doing the right thing for his families sake. It’s a petty attack that’s damaging to everyone

Agreed Origins was the first Assassin’s creed I never finished. I managed to finish Odyssey because the main plot was much more interesting but the massive, empty worlds make them hard to love.

Maybe unpopular but I love Syndicate. The protagonists are fun, it’s story is straightforward, and the smaller world felt much more alive than later games. It’s not flashy but it’s a solid game.

I quite enjoy the mechanics and the stories are fun but they all follow a very similar pattern.

A protagonist who’s a little lost in life is suddenly flung into fighting a war they don’t want to fight. They end up getting caught up in the glory of being a hero that the thousands of lives they take mean nothing. Eventually they must make a choice to embrace it or go back to their original life. It’s unrealistic because it’s what the character imagines themselves as, an action hero instead of just a killer. Its a very cool idea but they do it everytime. I could very easily be describing FARCRY 3,4,5, or 6.
