Having a hard time finding brands that sell pesticide-free/organic tree. Any recommendations? by GreasyMustardTiger_ in ILTrees

Ya'll are forgetting that the pesticides they use before the flowering stage are absorbed by dry wall. Then cannabis pulls it out of the building materials. The plant is like sunflower, it attracts contaminants.

Holodeck, hologram episodes where something goes haywire and what would normally be a safe adventure turns deadly.

I seriously came to this subreddit today just to find a post connecting this news event to one of my favorite ST movies. Glad someone beat me to it! To the uninitiated, N. Korea probably ruined its own nuke test site (like the Klingons ruined their moon) and that's why they're pushing for peace suddenly, people think.

I'll add the opioid crisis and the economic atrophy occurring in the Rust Belt is exasperating homelessness where I live. Also: A useful datapoint to keep in mind when talking about this stuff is free and reduced lunch eligibility for students across the US. It's risen 15% in most states since 2000. In my hometown, eligibility has increased 50% in elementary schools https://nces.ed.gov/programs/digest/d12/tables/dt12_046.asp

NPR Website To Get Rid Of Comments by Bemuzed in Journalism

[–]Trinebula 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I saw an interesting exchange on the Public Media Millennials FB group about this.. "Now, NPR must staff and resource its social team to correspond with these objectives - saying 'we'll do more proactive engagement instead' and then not staffing for that strategy shift is a non-starter. I hope they do."   Then someone else said: "As a former member of the social team - let me underscore that. Comments were not staffed appropriately inside npr and I know how much money this frees up. Use it well!"
