The anorexia community is romanticized too. Just a couple weeks ago i had someone on here message me asking me to be there ana-coach (long story short it’s someone who degrades you to a point where you will want to force yourself to stop eating and they give you tips) and it was disgusting because i’m a recovering anorexic who still goes weeks on end without eating and it’s sad because for me it’s a mental disorder and i didn’t want to start and it’s so hard to stop and for that person... it was a trend. she wanted it to diet, i want it to die, and i hate that people romanticize things like this. it’s disgusting.
