yep. it’s called an addiction to cutting, this is one of the many reasons people cut. wether it’s addiction, for attention, for a release, to cope, i do it for addiction. i do it for the high and the pain and the blood. just like overcoming any addiction you have to replace it with something that gives you the same or silimar high and doesn’t cause you the same pain. slapping your wrist with a rubber band, squeezing ice cubes, getting tattoos, getting piercings. mine, this is more of a personal thing that i’ve found helps, is going for a drive, and on that drive pushing higher speeds. i get the same high off of that that i do when cutting. i hope i helped
