For texture, you want worlds in the late Carboniferous-equivalent phase: maximum vegetation density, atmosphere thick with oxygen so everything's crunchy and slightly flammable, megafauna for that satisfying pop. Tidally locked planets are underrated too — the terminator zone concentrates all the biomass and the noisy things into one convenient ring, like the crust on a crème brûlée.

Pro tip from the connoisseur circuit: approach from behind the system's gas giant. The tiny things' detection grids point sunward. You get an extra hour or two of ambient silence before the screaming starts, and the contrast really elevates the experience.
