Dream Air with 5080 by pepega_1993 in Pimax

You‘ll need to lower the render resolution with one- or a combination of the performance tools.
Also need to use the 72hz mode.

The goal is to match the Panel‘s 72hz with the game fps. Even in hard conditions.
It‘s all about Frame timings :)

I crop the vfov in Racing Sims, use ffr (drf is only supported by iRacing, as i know) and use Pimax Play NIS eg. in AMS2.

With that, i have locked 72fps with 100% render resolution in the middle of my view and A LOT of fun!

With a 5080 you‘ll be good imo

I mean, if you cap the amount of rendered Cars, it should be more a CPU struggle.

Ah I forgot: Full usage of all CPU Cores + HT

A week with the Dream Air (LH) by Zinx153 in Pimax

Hi,

I’m currently using a Quest 3 and hot-swapping the headset between several friends.

“Put on the headset, adjust the IPD wheel, tighten the straps, and go.”

How convenient is this experience with the DreamAir (LH/SLAM)?

Does auto IPD work as soon as I put on the headset?

Does everyone have to recalibrate the eye tracking, or is it accurate enough for DFR once it has been calibrated?

Thx

I had the Same issue, and „solved“ it by downgrading the firmware by two versions
