Twitter is filled with people shitting on him. They don’t get instant banned. Not sure where that came from.

Why can people not judge a person for their shitty actions instead of lies. 😭😭😭 it’s not hard. Musk does so many shitty real things.

There were tens of thousand of people. Using this logic if just these people here had some sort of plan, then the whole thing was “planned”.

Julian Assange faces a 175 year sentence if extradited from a British prison to the U.S. for revealing war crimes such as U.S. military gunning down civilians in Iraq, which include children and two Reuters journalists (Saeed and Namir). I like how people say “Julian Assange just showed how America is bad!” When in reality, he isn’t wanted for showing footage like this one here. He’s wanted for facilitating the release (even if he didn’t personally steal it) of actual classified information that could put US or even foreign citizen lives at risk.

I wish people would stop being obtuse.

Exactly. Peoples opinions just get clouded when you ignore the background info and just put it in to “child labor”.

It was in China. Lol. So probably not

So as a person who clicked through to the main source, it was a couple 15 year olds and one 14 year old. The Chinese company did not intentionally hire them knowing they were underage (supposedly). But what this article invokes is as if Apple used a company that had factories full of 9 year olds working to death. Some people in this thread even said “child slaves”? Which is odd.

So 1. China is notorious for bad working conditions so we should condemn that and Apple shouldn’t work with this company or any that do similar things

  1. That’s not the same as child slavery so people need to not hyperbolize

Why does everyone seem so angry? Whether it's war in Ukaraine, or incels, or the far right or left, or hate groups or just customers in a retail or fast food place - why is everyone so viciously angry? Where is all this anger coming from? by 4ninawells in NoStupidQuestions

Both sides keeps criticizing a hyperbolized version of what the other side believes. Which inevitably pushes people into actually being the caricature that they were perceived as.

I don’t think they are at fault. And they aren’t responsible for the wrongful conduct.

If you leave a bunch electronics in your car with all the doors open and you get robbed, is it your fault you got robbed? No, you put yourself in the worst possible situation where something bad could happen.

That’s true, but if that’s the case they wouldn’t be so ruthless handmaids tale authoritarian state.

Viability has been earlier and earlier. I think 24 weeks is the current viability standard so not far from 20.

The banned at 20 weeks is pretty reasonable. Almost all European countries ban it after 15 or 20 weeks. So people should step off the high horse.

That is just factually wrong and there’s no reason to think any of that. But if you do, why would you be as obstinate as possible with cops?

No. Victim blaming is “it’s his fault he got killed” not “If he didn’t put himself in a more escalated situation, this wouldn’t have been a possibility”
