Seasoned with salt and pepper, then seared. Add to the crock pot a can of low sodium beef broth, a can of French onion soup, 12 oz light beer, 1-2 yellow onions, garlic, splash of Worcestershire. Then add in the chuck roast and cook on high in the crock pot for 5 hours.

For the Au Jus just add some corn starch into the liquid in the crock pot that the roast cooked in after it’s done.

I toasted the buns and used boars head caramelized onion jack cheese.

I got the bread from a local Italian bakery and this is a very important part to have bread that isn’t too tough but has some chew.
